This was a proper proper 10/10. I rated it 9.5 mainly cause of that ending. I feel like if they had already killed cheng and gotten back full control of great yan, then finishing off dai country should've been a piece of cake. They literally had their army and are allies with great zhao. It should've been a clean sweep. No one necessarily needed to die at the last ep. But that aside, I loved the entire series. Beautiful, worth it and that ep 40.5 was icing on the cake for me. Such a beautiful story indeed and very well done. I enjoyed watching every evil person meet their end.

I TRULY WISH I COULD CLEAR MY ENTIRE MEMORY OF THIS DRAMA AND REWATCH UT FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME. NO SKIP, VERY INTERESTING. I LOVED IT SO SO SO SO MUCH ðŸ˜EVERY CHARACTER HAD A STORY TO TELL AND IT WAS SO ENGAGING. 💕

I loved this drama. Very interesting, very realistic, loved every character. Xu yan was low-key annoying and dumb asf, but it's also understandable and realistic, overall I just loved the drama

LMAO... exactly! I mentioned it somewhere that it would've been nice if they added more missions from the rescue team just like in you are my hero. It makes it more fun to watch and then the exes coming was just annoying asf especially the fls ex, the guy pissed me off in one ep so bad
