Solid entertainment that kept me engaged until the end. Honestly, I would have been happy with either of the two potential endings... you knew they loved each other and we could dream about how their lives progressed after this moment. Stellar writing, acting and direction. I'll revisit this on the next rainy weekend.

Strangely enough, I enjoyed this more than No Gain No Love. I would have appreciated a few more episodes but I'm very happy that this was created.

I actually found parts of this series funny, fun, and entertaining... and then there were the other parts. Don't know what happened with the writing around episode 8 but it dipped for a bit and came back at the end. Overall a decent watch, mainly due to the actors and specific situations their characters were in.

Sigh. Unfortunately, my hopes of a late summer trifecta of excellent series did not materialize. I had high hopes for this, Cinderella at 2am, and Love Next Door. All were watchable but ultimately forgettable. Oh well, let's see what's in store for the fall.

At least once in your life you should have a boss/mentor like Sang-shik, a senior co-worker like Dong-shik and a office peer/friend like Seok-yool. I enjoyed this drama and, if it is anything like the real office/work culture, I'm glad I work from home. Writing and acting in this were great [although some of the episodes dragged a little]. A entertaining watch overall.

I was hoping for greatness but got okayness. An absolutely killer cast was somewhat wasted on less than stellar writing. The first half was engaging but the second half just seemed phoned in... especially the last two episodes. Still a fun watch but I'm a little sad about the lost potential on this one.

It's been a while since I've been all-in on a series from the first episode but this one is checking all the boxes. Love the story, love the actors, love the direction... can't wait for the next episode.

Interesting watch to say the least. Nothing typical about this series and I'm looking forward to the rest of the journey.

Finished this today... not horrible but not good either. The story was weak and the FL character was poorly written. Villains were excellent both in writing and acting, kudos! Moments of fun here and there but overall this was a disappointment. Wonderful actors sometimes can't save a poorly written story.

I started watching this after seeing Lee Ji Ah in My Mister... which she was excellent in but that character was much more complete [to the point of really hating her]. She's a more than capable actor but this just wasn't her best. I'll have a look at The Penthouse now to get her My Mister character out of my head.

I want to watch this again, but can't yet bring myself to do so after Lee Sun Kyung's suicide, but I don't really…
Understood. The tragedy of his passing can't be erased but he did leave us with something special. It's only been a week since I finished this and I've honestly spent an unhealthy amount of time thinking about it. The writing for the two mains was exceptional, as was their acting.

Outside of the ML/FL storyline, I'm drawn closely to the development / realization arc of Yoon-hee. Not advocating or justifying her actions but the journey this character took was very well written and acted.

Well, it finally happened... after 130+ dramas, I've rated a series a 10. This was a brilliantly written + directed emotional drama and the acting was stellar. The music was excellent and embellished the storyline. Even the title sequence was good. Can't say enough about this well crafted, emotional rollercoaster of a journey.

Learn from my experience: if you are planning to watch this, I found the subtitles more realistic and insightful on Prime and Viki. Netflix, while I got the gist, didn't provide the same level of detail.

This was light entertainment to say the least. Don't watch it if you're expecting something new + groundbreaking, watch it if you're in need of a predictable [but comforting] story and enjoy the actors.

Great mix of drama and comedy, would highly recommend. Sure, the episodes are long and the journey can drag a little but the destination is well worth it.

Honestly, I was hoping for better. Not that it's bad but it's not something I'd recommend. Acting was fine... it's just that the story lacked. Was hoping that Kim Sun-young would have a killer role but she's just in the background.

This was... okay. There's nothing wrong with it, it's nicely produced with good acting but it left me wanting more. Not more seasons just more depth in the story.

This was surprisingly good. I expected this to be a teen drama but, while it had aspects of that, overall the storyline was decent and entertaining for someone over 20. Acting was good, music was fine, and it was just a fun watch.

However, as a Canadian, I'm giving this a penalty. The character of young Ha Lee Chan was wearing a Calgary Flames jersey with Phaneuf on the back. In 1995, Dion Phaneuf was 10 years old and didn't join the Flames until 2005. 2 minute penalty for unintentional time travel of a jersey!

I'm currently rewatching this for the third time. For whatever reason, this series reaches me in ways others [or very few others] don't. The casting/acting in this is near perfect for the characters, the story line is intriguing and non-linear, the music is subtle but adds to the atmosphere, and the direction/editing is fantastic. It's like catching up with an old friend from time to time.

Another series that I had such high hopes for and then, well... disappointment. Dropped after episode 4 because nothing is happening, the storyline is weak [at this point] and I find the chef annoying. I guess this one is just not for me.
