Even the most well-written comedies can fail if the actors aren't completely dedicated to their roles, but when it's clear that they are having fun with their characters, a comedy can really be so great. In this case... the actors are clearly having fun. It's so nice that they have different roles.
This is a drama full of hope, lies, pain, durian and colorful characters! It is emotional and heart wrenching at times. Shocking at others. Painful and chilling for me. I went into this movie blind with no expectations. I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy it but I have to admit it was good. I enjoyed it and it did give me some of the feels I expect from a good story.
