Liked it.. did not love it.
It was a meet-cute story that started out strong but became a little predictable.
I needed something fluffy, and this kind of worked. The characters are nice, some moments are cute and fun, and I liked everything related to food and JJ&Methas.
As a romance, this didn't really work for me. The relationship between Oab and Plawan is very rushed and feels lukewarm, all sweetness, passionate and no depth. The drama near the end is a bit .... ugh. I mean, I get it. It's important. But it felt so predictable.
Loved the secondary characters.
One man so used to being alone and another whose chosen to to heal and help. And, now they might just find out they're exactly what one another needs. JJ truly is such an adorable and amazing character.
I liked how he really saw Methas. He saw past the facade and saw a man who wanted to prove and who is afraid. Love him so much together with Methas. OK... I know I'm biased.
It was easy, it was fun, it was very sexy. So, while this story and I were not really a match, I can totally get why people dive into it.
