You are right. I did not pay enough attention to the word "uncle". Now that I know that he has a real nephew I understand better why he talked so fiercely to his unknown visitor. His nephew came to beg for forgiveness on his knees. We don't see him but Dali's father is looking downwards when he is lecturing the nephew. Then he turns his head and look straight ahead while we hear footsteps. Someone else walked in and that person is the one who kills Dali's father.
8.9 for this? It would be interesting to see what the rating of this drama would be if the main guy was someone…
I have seen Yoo Ji-tae portraying mostly serious characters in dramas. I can't picture him in this role. KSH is doing a proper job. I think a guy like Park Seo Jun would have fitted in this role too. But OK 8.9 is a good rating and it underlines the many qualities of the drama.
Gosh I can’t stand Mosheng. I hope karma gives him a good ass kicking. YaoYao should divorce him. I hope the…
The other woman is in a scheme to woo him for her personnal interest. He fell in her trap. But things won't turn too bad for him. He has his bro to save him. And in Cdrama, when the bad guy is in the family, it is usually all is well that ends well.
I enjoyed every bit of the 1st episode. Except the part of Dali's father and Moo-hak's brother. What happened…
It is a little bit confusing because we can only make an assumption based on Moo-hak's reaction. Probably someone from Cheongsong art museum used the artworks they acquired to do something illegal. That person went to meet the director (Dali's father) to apologize but he finally killed him because Dali's father wanted him to be accountable and punished. It is probable her father died because in the preview of next ep, she seems on her own.
It's a good start. The guy manages to be likeable even if he is a loud brat nouveau riche and a little bit dumb. I like she girl. She is knowledgeable and smart. I hope the plotline will be strong and not too cliché with only situations for the fun. Waiting for ep2 now.
Can someone please tell me if Ji hyuk and Soo Yeon had a romantic past because it got me confused especially on…
Soo Yeon and Kyung Seok were secretly dating and engaged but none of their colleagues knew about it. Ji Hyuk only discovered it by chance.
Before the job in China, Soo Yeon went to ask Ji Hyuk to act diferently and make the life of his partners his priority because she feared something could happen to her fiancé. He told her "Are you asking me as your colleague or as... " She said "I know what you mean and it's both".
These two have also a secret bond. He meets her in secret on her request. She seems to know him well and she is familliar and assertive with him. My theory is that she is his ex wife and after they divorced, she moved to his team mate who was killed in China.
I think there is no payback. It was not his fault. Someone sold them. Probably she will save his ass when he tries to find the mole.

Trailer is cute. Park Eun Bin looks so different in here.
I dropped the Korean version early but in the Chinese version they put the FL in office situation kind of outrageous or useless for me. I don't like when it does not bring much to the developement of the story. I thank this drama for avoiding that. I mostly watch Kdrama and Cdrama + Lakorn and Jdrama from time to time. I do not regret giving a chance to this remake.
I liked the pace. They focused on the 4 main characters for the emotional part and used the supporting cast just to support them. No unnecessary development for them. They also got rid of sub plots that usually make the drama draggy.
No the pace was good. It is the ending which could have been better... They used too many time jump to induce things that are not clear and not properly presented. That made the ending look rushed. Happy ending anyway.
In my opinion, the second male lead (Akaso Eiji) had more chemistry with SAto Ai. The actor has great charisma.
For me, the guy looked like a playful teen trying to hook up with a noona full of insecurities and focused to do well in her professionnal life. The sad thing about him is that he is more than that. He is a famous author who is able to write things that touch the heart of people.
I think the way he approached Sato Ai was immature and insincere. Now that his identity has been revealed, he should approach a woman with his entire and true self. He will meet someone who will see him for who he really is and fall for him eventually.
The SLS for me was so strong that I found myself disappointed with the ending, unfortunately. Even though I knew…
I never had the feeling the SML had any chance because his style, appearance and behavior made him look like a carefree rich boy and that was not what Sato Ai needed as she was low on confidence. ML challenging her was what she needed. Also the final twist about him was no good. He basically hid his real indentity and face and his real person hoping Sato Ai would fall for a playful facade? It is like it was just another joke from him.
