8 eps in and I'm in love. Chemistry is amazing. FL is witty and her small bickers and trying to use ML is fun. And her maid and his guard makes for an extra cute couple addition.
I hate war themed dramas for one reason and that's because they are always sad asf. I love the chemistry between the leads but idk if I can handle it. My gut tells me sad ending but I just love Nam Goong min. He always brings his characters to life.

I'm assuming your person is XL lol. He's my male lead too and I'm sad asf but even if I know his end, the plot itself is still captivating and worth watching imo. You should still try 😊
And honestly nothing wrong with Jing. Yes, he is a people pleaser and his kindness is both his strength and weakness. But XY loves him because of his kindness and never changing character.
Rewatched ep 34 and honestly that's the first time I cried. I can't get over the dungeon fight and XY's words to XL.
I cried for the man who gained his freedom. And XY's sweet words to him. I know we won't see him anymore but I wish he does see the ocean.
And I just loved loved loved when XY told XL she wished she was the one to have saved him. His expression was flawless. To know there's someone out there that cares for you. But the worst part is he can't reciprocate it. I think if he had opened up to her, she would have fallen for him even though she had originally said he's not the type of man to be in a girl's dream. Or maybe it's me being delusional but it don't matter, I still believe they are soulmates that met at the wrong timing.
I'm excited for go east to eventually finish filming and airing. I saw somewhere that apparently after that drama…
He deserves a break. Thankfully he is releasing quite a few dramas before then so I won't be too sad. I'm hoping he still does variety shows and music while on drama hiatus.
And knowing he's going to get even more recognition after it all ends makes it worthwhile.
Yes, I love when actors get recognized for their talent. And I still can't believe he played the annoying prince in Court Lady. I had to go back and watch to make sure 🤣
