Ep 7 was both sad and sweet. The consequences of war is always heartbreaking and they did a wonderful job of portraying that when Gil Chae was reminiscing the good old days.
And Jang Hyun's teasing yet charming actions toward Gil Chae has always been sweet. I wish she would let go of her love for Yeon Jun. She's clearly not in love anymore but it's hard to realize you don't love someone anymore after so long. Hopefully the director ends this plot soon. I'm already over it.
And Yeon Jun leaves a sour taste in my mouth. He definitely shouldn't be marrying another woman if he has feelings for another woman. I feel for Eun Ae. She's the safe choice.
Regardless, Nam Goongmin is always a joy to watch.

Imo he couldn't love her because of the loyalty he had to the general that saved him and his army. He's definitely one of those guys who sticks by his promises. If only Xiao Yao had saved him then, I think he would have proclaimed his love to her. Except in this life, he knows he can't give everything up for her and b/c CX is his enemy. It puts XY in a tough spot.
I'm watching the legend of zhouhua and it got me thinking, it's always the mean cold hearted aloof males that have the warmest hearts haha. That's right, I'm talking about you Xiang Liu haha. Hiding their warm heart behind their cold exterior.
If Jing Hong turns evil, I'm going to be done with cdramas haha. And I can't be the only one that thinks Zhimo is a cutie. I'm hoping he makes it big in the industry.
And I swear it's always the cold aloof MLs that are the warmest and most jealous 🤣
I'm a sucker for men with white hair but Xiang Liu tops the list.
Those deep eyes that steal your soul and that smile that makes your heart flutter. Tan Jianci has become one of my favorite actors alongside Hu Ge and Xu Kai.
So far reviewing his interviews, he is always very real and genuine and he really works very hard. The show biz…
I've had the novel in my to read list for over a year, probably even longer but honestly I couldn't get into it. So I can't compare the novel and drama XL. But I will say I trust Tan Jianci's judgement and how he wanted to portray XL.
He's so real. Best actor in every way. Imagine him thinking he's not suitable for roles lol he's about to cause…
Forreal. To the people who turned him down due to his looks, you missed out on a great actor. But cheers to him and his many more great dramas to come.

Can't wait for the next ep. Go get your girl Lord Ding!
Definitely Tan Jianci's year. Hoping everyone makes it big soon.
And I wish Zhimo and Juli had more scenes. They are literally the cutest side characters.

Regardless, he's the full package. Got the looks, can sing, can dance and has a sense of humor. He's set the standard.
I just don't want to see XL die. I'd rather end it at S1 and pretend CX became king, XY married FL, TSJ divorced his wife and XL lived 🙈🤣
Through these eps, we can see she has matured and become braver. I honestly would lose my mind doing what she did.
At the end of the day, innocent people suffer from wars. It's heartbreaking to think about.
