Honestly I loved the first half so much. Her dislike for him and him acting as if he isn't secretly helping her because he likes her makes for a good laugh.
Personally I wished they had gone a different direction than the whole female family downfall and her taking on a new identity. If it wasn't for their cute yet flirty chemistry, I don't think I would have finished the last half.
It's a good drama regardless with many very sweet and cute scenes but just wasn't my cup of tea towards the end.
My first drama with Jeremy Tsui and omg I fell for him the first moment I lay eyes on him.
My heart hurts for Yul once more. The scene where he meets JBY after realizing she's Naksu was such an emotional roller-coaster. I wanted to cry with him. She can never be his 😭
CP and his turtle are a Mood🤣🤣🤣Ps: I liked that Eunuch who just stopped on his way and let Naksu see…
I was thinking the same. But then I'm glad he didn't. If we did, we wouldn't have gotten the confused crown prince overthinking scene 🤣 if I didn't know any better, I'd think my boi was in love with Uk haha
Man...I feel for both men. I don't understand why they always give the sml a backstory with the female lead. This and Alchemy of Souls is tearing me up.
I love the male lead but I have a spot for our sml too.
Guess the saying is true. Female lead is for the male lead and 2nd male lead is for us viewers.
I ship So Rang and Shin Won so hard. When he snuck to see her and she's reading the marriage proposal and he's secretly replying to her worries. Why do directors always make our 2nd lead so damn lovable.
But I also love her with the emperor. Gosh this is going to hurt my heart.
And that's a wrap. I have nothing bad to say about this drama. Great cast, great script, great music and great in general. What I love about this drama is there wasn't any over-annoying extended villain scenes. We had them but they didn't occupy like 50% of the screen each ep. And I absolutely adored the love and friendship between the women group, their family and husband.
I'll see you guys in the Alchemy of Souls 2 thread if you guys are hopping over there tomorrow.

But seriously, Jang Uk being cold-hearted on the outside but a softy on the inside is really killing me. I'm in love.
The king and So Rang have such hot chemistry. I'm squealing at how cute they are in ep 4.
But dang, my heart is breaking for Shin Won slowly every episode.
And omg, history repeating itself with Yul and the Crown Prince. They'll have another heartbreak with Bu Yeon this time 😭
But I also love the confused angry emperor too. I died during the hunting scene where she randomly pops out hahaha
Nothing will prepare me for the heartbreak.
We need supernatural and have the queen brought back lol.
And sadly the girl who was sml's fiance is the main girl. Heartbreak 😭😭😭
But I also love her with the emperor. Gosh this is going to hurt my heart.
