Essentially, ZL always knew that he was the ghost king and that they are part of the Lingben sect.

This was 2 or 4 episodes away… when she was travelling to or just arrived in the capital.

No screen time today for the Main Leads 🥲. I still enjoyed today’s episodes tho! Hopefully Zhong Ling and QiaoPing don’t take forever to reconcile.

Thirty-three minutes into episode 9, and I almost want to give CangCang a stern slap for her cluelessness! Now she’s finally learned that her Shifu was the ghost king, and that the Emperor killed him for that very reason 😒... But then she goes on about how he used her to kill a villain? Girl, seriously? This man handed you his only pill, faced his own poison, got stabbed trying to save you from falling off the roof, and even got knocked off a ship just to shield you from the impact... I’m beyond frustrated at this point.
