Novel readers! Please help share if there have been significant changes from the novel. I just saw a spoiler on TikTok that states XJ plunges his sword into Feng Xiyang, killing her unborn child and herself, while the Emperor of Jingshi kneels for the first time in his life, begging him not to kill his wife and child.
This is too much for me... ๐ญ! XJ should never take the throne of Jinshi because it would mean the villain wins ๐ญ.
Novel readers, what really happens in the book, and has anything been updated so far in the drama series?
Lost for words! I wanted Father and Son to have a proper talk and somewhat reconcile, Feng Pengcheng asking for forgiveness, etc. That chance is gone forever. Now, the Prince has lost his Feng battalion commanders and will likely lose his memory as well? This is too much for me. I hope he at least tells them everything he saw before he was killed, since he would lose his memory after the treatment.
I think I'd be looking forward to Xiyang's badass character development going forward. Let her marry the Jinshi Emperorโbecause he's a cutie, lolโand maybe be tamed by her. Then let her use him and her power as Empress to help Feng Suige fight for the throne of Susha. I hope she actually survives, unlike in the novel, so Suige still has a surviving family member by his side.
Owning a death camp where kids are kidnapped, dehumanized, and treated like animalsโฆ that alone deserves death plus not caring about the lives of civilians; sacrificing them just to kill FSG and turn him into a murder. He's clearly cold and heartless.
I have been helding back to rant this out since ep 24.... The ML is good in every way but I just hate the fact…
Thank you! FSG really pissing me offโฆ Thereโs no better candidate.
His father used the wrong method to mold him if not he would have been a gonerโฆ
Emperor also ensured PMZ son was killed to avenge his Empress cause he could have shown mercy but reminded PMZ what he did to his empress asking him not to be emotional tooโฆ same way he told the Empress same thing โmy condolencesโโฆ. He may not be the best father and husband but he did love them.
Wow! Feng Pingcheng truly surprised me. I didn't expect him to turn into such a jerky character. I thought the backstory would reveal more depth. Honestly, he loved her fierce independence but despised her resistance to him. Their story deserves a two-episode arc because there was definitely real love there. But why did she suddenly become hostile? What did she mean by saying FSG should choose to rule? That doesn't sit right with how succession works in the royal family. Both of them were clearly caught up in their pride, and it tore them apart.
They shouldn't have married to begin with. When he began his mission to build the nation, she should have voiced her desires for her role as Empress, and he his expectations. I dislike how stubborn she was with him, thoโhe was willing to let her go finally, but not with their children.. I get that. He loves Xiyang (we saw that loud and clear), but the way he turned FSG against him, nurturing hatredโhow could he do that? There are so many other ways he could have done that.
On top of that, he relied heavily on Marquis Murong and Prime Minister Zhuang. They proved their loyalty and service, so maybe he should have rewarded them with a fiefdomโlike governors of a regionโbecause of their loyalty. It could have changed the course of history for the better. His decision to kill PMZ's son was clearly to avenge the death of the Empress, lol.... but PMZ's son was wrong, tho... it smelled treason masked in ignorance.
I think the next episode will bring some major emotional moments cause i have a feeling he might betray his own…
Totally agreeโฆ. We may get more context on the late Empress death in tomorrows episode. FCH is been manipulated by his mum and grandpa. I trust FSG will show him mercy if he steps out of line.
Are you this needy of attention, putting a spoiler wont cost you your life
Take your foolishness elsewhere! There are spoilers all over this thread. You could have politely asked to use a tag instead of being rude. Also, the novel is right here on this same threadโฆ
