She's considered Snow White and the other characters sorta play into that but make it modern? but IDK LOL Hopefully we don't get some magical body switching where the bodies don't switch back and I doubt we will have a death and reborn thing LOL
There’s no romance tag? Expected there would be. I’m all in for a ruthless heroine who schemes her way through…
They haven't provided the character chart but I think Joo Ha Neul is her ML. He will be around her, will fall for her and know that she's not Joo Yeong Chae but will play along. She's considered Snow White and he's the Prince.
Victoria aka Real Young Chae is supposed to one of the villains. IDK what Victoria's damage is, like being jealous that FL might be better than her even though gurrrrrl (she's rich!), IDK maybe FL's dad killed Victoria's dad? It better not be jealousy because in 2025, can we have better reasons for revenge? LOL
Ugh Shao Hua's older bro and sis-in-law are such white-eyed wolves. Like come on, she can be at her lowest and poor yet she can pick herself up to earn money while the white-eyed wolves just think they deserve and expect her to give them the easy life.
Except for the fact that they depicted the US exactly as they are lol
They also needed to make a point that there's corporations and oligarchs behind war as well that pull the strings. They stand to profit from selling weapons, ammunition, and military technology.
After today's episode and watching next episode's teaser I have a feeling that the copycat killer is not male…
I think you're on to something. For me it's either his wife or wife's best friend. I'm highly suspicious of the wife. Plus when they showed the killer attacking, the body was too petite and it was giving woman or petite man that needs needles and stun gun to attack the "victim". Min-Jae felt like a red herring. Like isn't he possibly making a webtoon about The Mantis? That's what the stuff in his workspace was giving.
I'm not hallucinating - the male lead was a doctor to start the show, right? I'm kind of laughing along but hitting…
He was taking online courses. I could swear they were law courses to become a lawyer before becoming director. IDK if he received his degree, then boom he's a director.
She dated Tae Oh, got pregnant, left him and then what? When did she marry the guy before Gi Chan? Before Tae Oh? After but got divorced/left quickly once she began showing or was she hiding Ji Ho while married to the other guy before divorce?
I thought she was married in the USA with Gi Chan a whole 8 years as of the first episode? Or maybe I have my years wrong.
Lucia drugged the Chairman so that she did not have consummate the marriage? Will she keep drugging him? Lucia…
I wonder if Lucia might have to get spicy with MTG, get pregnant and lie that she is having chairman's kid at some point to avoid being intimate with Chairman unless those drinks will just take away his desire for sex etc
I love how she's worried about changing history but she's already changed it with her becoming a Royal Cook as a woman and winning favor. Unless everything she knows was just a whitewashed version of history where story was changed to suit whoever came in to power after and got rid of those that lived that history to ensure that no one spills the truth.
The first 4 episodes have a similar story and vibe to the Chinese version but while it has a few bits from the OG, it has a lot of new and different things. I don't know where they will take the story as things are different, so it's not a direct scene by scene remake.
