KSR is like a demon spirit from The Revenant kdrama LOL she's can appear anywhere at will! LOL When did KSR become omnipresent and when did this drama become a supernatural makjang, writer-nim?! The convoluted coincidences of KSR are a bit much. Like change her outfit atleast each time so we know time passed or something. The only believable part of her whole deal was when she's a stalker paparazzo of YH and JDJ LOL
So this is using the movie version main character names and some supporting character names, car racing, some setting, and less comedy? Also how did bodyswap(?) get passed censors? LOL
For being brothers, why does their relationship seem so on the surface and superficial? Like I get it you can't…
I agree. Brothers that don't act like brothers LOL Ji Han acts like a father making his will the way and only way without communicating what needs to be done and compromising. I wish they would just sit down and communicate. They are Gen MZ, so it's not like they are so bound by conservative views of the older Generation. Yes, respecting elders etc but they themselves can talk it out and not bottle it up. They only have each other although at times in eps 1 and 2, it felt like they weren't there for each other? Then again the storytelling is kind of show you something and move on like they will explain later in flashbacks. I kept screaming at them LOL like sit together bros, make a plan! LOL At this point it's like If you both sit down and talk maybe plan where Ji Han would be the one running things like a co-CEO behind the scenes while Do Han is the figurehead and figure out how to keep the hyenas of the family from figuring things out because everyone wants to be CEO except Do Han LOL
Ep 2 was a bit messy. I understand the character motives but I also don't. I feel for Lee Do Han but I also kinda…
The brothers really need to have a heart to heart and open communication because their relationship seems so on the surface and superficial. No wonder one is anxious avoidant (Ji Han) and the other is avoidant disorganized (Do Han) personality types LOL It's like are you really brothers? Because their relationship while "close" is more like their relationship with the other family members.
i'm annoyed by Ji Han and Do Han.Only enjoyable character is ah Jung, ngl.has only been 2 episodes so it can get…
For being brothers, why does their relationship seem so on the surface and superficial? Like I get it you can't confide that one secret. But they just seem so disconnected. Almost as if they lived separate lives and never fully were brothers that supported one another. Seemed like Ji Han was always pushing his bro like he was an investment that could keep them both in the family and if his investment failed then boom they are kicked out. That's what I felt for the 2 episodes but maybe we will find out more later episodes but still felt like there's a lot of missing pieces maybe it's going to be like an onion and the next 10 episodes will be the layers of everything.
On EP 15 the way that they set up the Alibaba crush and way he reacts and then parallel Chen Shi doing similar actions of almost falling over and rushing to see LB LOL it can totally be seen in two different ways LOL IDK if it was intentional but I see what production is doing LOL I know they are besties and it's not supposed to be seen in another way but the way they did the set up made it seem other way LOL anyway he was giving puppy retriever energy LOL
They have it subbed and upload it to kissasian up to ep. 6. Why did they stop unloading?
Lakorn galaxy (subs are in a better font color and higher quality/only issue is pop-up ads you might get when you click play but you can close them out if your blocker doesn't catch them) finally has it updated by today and so does bilibili (requires VPN if you are outside region, 720P highest but doesn't look it and the subs are white font)
The white truck of death strikes again....The most shocking part of this week's episodes is that THee isn't Yeom's…
But did THee even do a DNA test to make sure she's not related to TM, her mom, and her mom's husband? LOL because at this point, I would have been paranoid and ran DNA tests on everyone LOL 5 episodes left and somehow THee and HyoDoDo have yet to reconcile. I'm going to assume in the next 6 episodes they are going to zoom to each other if we have a wedding episode then they will meet up again LOL
Right, I was like sir why are you making plans when you haven't even met your bro. It's like going on one date and all of a sudden you have wedding plans when a second date might not even happen and you get ghosted LOL
Why is Chen Shi so dumb BTW? His character is giving me headache tbh.
He's also "young" "green" not experienced in the world, seemed like he came from a rural village type place, so he's like new to the big city (capital) although I don't remember what his exact age is but he's definitely younger since he talked like his brother was his guardian LOL like I'll do as my brother says. He's like our typical heroine/FLs where there's a mix of naive, innocense, damsel-ish but sorta holds his own and has wits and sees things that other people don't plus he's kind to animals (another FL type trait)LOL we should be glad he doesn't have a high pitched or too soft baby voice LOL I'm just comparing him to FLs/heroines because I haven't seen ML's be anything but maybe naive, too kind, easily bullied unless they were faking being that. It's typical to see a uneducated/ignorant/not so smart supporting sidekick but I haven't seen one similar to Chen Shi that's why I compared him to FLs. I like him. I think he's the opposite of ML and also the one that can reel him in as well as show him that he's not alone. It's like two lonely people found each other and can confide in one another. While sure ML might be open with his team, he's not as open with them as he is with Chen Shi.
I know what you were thinking and I might have been thinking it too! 🤭🤭🤭 On a side note: I like ML in this better than his two romance Cdramas that came out recently even though I love Peng Xiao Ran and I just didn't get the chemistry with the other actress from that other drama either. It feels like in this series he's half-serious and half-fun like he can let loose like a cat...meow and his acting didn't feel stiffled by the dub🤭
Noona does not mean older sister (like blood sister/sibling) in this context. It's also used to address a close female friend who is older as well as a lover that is older by a younger man. It's a term of endearment and closeness. Both Noona and Oppa are used in different context. Either between siblings or close friends or lovers. Even though as lovers, there are plenty of other words LOL but in a way it's a cute way to say things too.
@bloomingtide I almost called a end to watching this drama after today’s episode. So in Korea (or is it HS,…
Sadly, filial piety in our (Asian) culture dictates respect for your elders no matter what although with Gen MZ, we are kind of learning to be more diplomatic with the way we handle that. For some reason mothers from that generation are much more strict/toxic/tiger moms that dictate how you have to walk, talk, eat, etc with their daughters (son's always the favourites) compared to those born in the late 70s/80s/90s mothers are less controlling/less tiger mom and also depends what regions are they rural/more city broadminded and who they are associated with because you have those competitive bishes which feels more fierce with 70s/80s/90s moms LOL If you want to see a similar mom and daughter relationship that feels more layered but from a CN perspective watch Islands with Ma Sichun
I like him. I think he's the opposite of ML and also the one that can reel him in as well as show him that he's not alone. It's like two lonely people found each other and can confide in one another. While sure ML might be open with his team, he's not as open with them as he is with Chen Shi.
