It was so worth the watch and i rate most of it very highly. I like how it keeps the viewers guessing and on the edge of their seats the entire show but kdramas always lose momentum when its time for the big reveal. It never really seems to maintain that same tension it almost felt like two different shows by the end.
how gory/gruesome is this? i really wanna watch but i can't stand bloody and violent scenes
I'd say there's gore in almost every episode but especially in the first and last two maybe? but it was a few seconds of skipping rather than extremely detailed and gruesome over the top gore, it was just enough to tell the story. But if you don't like any sort of gore or violence then i would avoid watching.
are you really comparing tax evasion to literal p*dophillia????
Thankfully i don't live in korea so it's not treated seriously here because user on dramalist made one comment seen by one person which doesn't have the power to significantly harm or tarnish their reputation. There was a lot of evidence to prove KSH is not innocent so spare me the defamation nonsense, You can't even construct a simple sentence in a comment section without using AI miss 99.9% ai generated content detected.
In the beginning I thought it was fantagio who outed him, but since they invested in cew drama I changed my mind…
But why would they do that? he even renewed his contract with them in 2023 they would be shooting themselves in the foot since he's the only one keeping the company affloat. Unless they didn't want to go down so they took cha eunwoo down to save themselves??
I genuinely dont care. Did he cause direct harm to someone? no. Did he S assault someone? No. I hope to seem him on the screen after his military service when all this dies down
This should've been a movie or short drama. The plot was promising at first but it's clear that many episodes were fillers and it lost that momentum from the beginning. Whenever the writers don't know what to do in Kdramas they spam all the cliches they can thing of to drag it on for as many episodes there are left
Let's hope with how long it's taking for a second season that they will put a lot of effort into it like they did with S1 it was interesting reading everyones theories while the show was airing so we'll see
They already did... For example: Actor's faces with tons of white powder, plastic surgery to make western eyes,…
Some of those things are just weternisation and modernisation in korean culture itself and have been happening since the korean war or before like fried chicken, plastic surgery, christianity, bread sweets and they have a long history of drugs during the japanese occupation and american soldiers and globalisation just made that worse. Also psychotherapy and antidepressants? what does advancement in medicine have to do with westernisation? Kdramas have always followed hollywood but they added their own twist on it which made it special to the viewers and have tried quirky stories and concepts. I think many of us can agree that we like the character development and pacing in kdramas compared to western ones where they do everything in one episode. They have already started copying netlfix's short episodes and multiple seasons when we used to get 16-20 episodes where they conclude everything in that one season. With SBS plans to broadcast on American TV now the quality may decline further just like some of these netflix shows and SBS releases a lot of kdramas in the year.
