I just wanna give major props/shout out to the director herself. I'm so so proud of director Yang Kyung Hee, she's really doing top notch jobs with KBLs this recent years like with Time of Fever, Secret Relationships & now The Prosecutor's Proposal. She outdid herself again.
I can't wait for her next project in the KBL industry. I know it will be another hit! I will be seated for the next one, and I can speak for everyone that they will be doing it too!!! πππ

After reading some of the reviews, I do agree with the criticism of the people here that it was fast paced, especially with the ending. Could've been more fleshed out and needed more episodes/runtime indeed,...also the AI use that's such a no go. I hope they don't do this or rely often in the future...However, I still think overall it's a really an amazing series. We're getting there with the KBLs. I have a good feeling and hope!! β
I feel so bad for this show, because this series gets overshadowed by the other series The Prosecutor's Proposal atm. For a low-budget show, it's really good. I do recommend watching this series.
Correct me if I'm wrong but is this not the highest rated KBL series out there? On my MDL? Can someone confirm/check? If so, god damn, KBLs are kiling it and rising boiiiis π₯ They becomin better and better each year!
The chemistry of the main leads Park Si Woo and Kim Yoon Sik is in my opinion comparable to the chemistry of Park Jae Chan and Park Seo Ham from Semantic Error. Their chemistry is through the roof and they do act well together. From the BTS they do look good vibin together. So yeah props to them!
Just watched all 10 eps., and just wow... I'm not normally into crime/thriller. But this takes the cake for me. This BL series is really exquisite and does go there with the scenes, whether steamy or suspenseful. Personally they peaked at the last 3 eps. That's when they really amped up the mystery/thriller vibe of the whole show. Props to the director & main leads, because they really did so well! This might be in my top 5, dare I say top 3, KBLS so far. 10/10 π₯π₯π₯
This is it folks...I hope this series stick the landing. It has potential being one of the best KBLs out there. I feel like I'm gonna cry watching the last episodes π₯²
After catching up and watching all 8 eps, this series has blown me so far! This series is lit, has an interesting premise/mystery and hot, sexy scenes all in one, so major props to the director and main leads! The rating for this KBL is also I think one of the highest for a KBL series out there, so damnnn! Can't wait for the last 2 eps and make my final rating!!! This is one of the best KBl series I've seen so far!π₯
Those last 3 minutes of ep 4 is INSANE!!!! Whuttt! The director really leveled up from 'Secret Relationships' because HELLOOO WHAT WAS THAT!!! Now I understand why this series was trending. This KBL series is really becoming the best so far this year and it's proving from the scoreπ₯π₯π₯
Props to Kim Kyung Min as Chu Tae Jeong & Kim Seung Beom as the main leads. They were amazing as the cat&mouse detective-killer couple! Also to Lee Jeong Ho as the main antagonist really, he did play the 'innocent friend' villain very well! This was Kim Kyung Min & Lee Jeong Ho first acting roles, so huge applause to them!!! π
Chaotic, messy but good show with a fine ending! The suspense and action were top notch! The episodes could've been in my opinion longer to know more well of the characters and their motives & background. All of the main leads were actually pretty good and had chemistry, even the antagonists! 8/10. Recommended! π
I'm more of a fan of the GMMTV actors, also after seeing Only Friends, kinda wish they would've gone that route with network, actors, etc with this series.. In my opinion they're really good looking.
Idk well the actors, but so far from what I've seen the actors somewhat do give the vibes of the original characters. And they look good. So that's well done!
As a huge fan of the original Korean BL version of "Secret Relationships", I didn't feel enough of the dark, toxic suspense that the original had, which was also what made it so good. But you know what? They are not making the exact same thing as the Korean version, which is actually good. The Thai version is actually doing its own thing, and I hope it goes well for the BL fans. I'm looking forward to seeing how people will eventually react to this series, but this version so far is just not my cup of tea.
The original title was "Killing House" apparently before they change it into "The Lie We Lived In". If so, then it kinda lives up to its original title tbh.
I can't wait for her next project in the KBL industry. I know it will be another hit! I will be seated for the next one, and I can speak for everyone that they will be doing it too!!! πππ
