Dimples! Dimples! Dimples!

Please don't think me superficial but my goodness Fluke Pongsakorn Wongpian has got dimples for days. When he smiles his face lights up. He is Thailand's Park Bo-gum. This is the first BL series that I have seen him in and he is doing an excellent job.

If you love watching a beautiful relationship develop, you will love this.

The development of the romance between the lead characters is so wonderfully and convincingly managed. I am truly appreciating the skill of the actors in playing their parts. I have re-watched the end of episode 7 over and over again. Beautifully done! Less happy moments do come but it is wonderful watching the gentle, beautiful love develop between Mork and Tawan.

I am also loving the wonderful chemistry between all the different love connections in this series. I love the BL Cinderella (lovers from completely different walks of life) aspect as well. And, I really appreciate that they decided to have three different romances going at once. As for the three biker friends they provide jokes for days. I did not want this series to end… but it did and I loved every moment I spent watching it.

Honestly, I want to thank the BL producers coming out of Thailand. It took me a long time to start watching their BL series but I can officially say I am now addicted. Wonderfully produced films, with great actors and beautiful romances. Even the less stellar productions are far superior to anything I have ever watched on the famous romance channel whose name I will not write here.

Great 'Romeo & Juliet' Remake and a Wonderful Emotional Rollercoaster Ride

I loved the story of this BL. It was fun, annoying, sad, upsetting, uplifting… a wonderful emotional rollercoaster ride.

The actors did a great job of executing their parts. Ohm Pawat Chittsawangdee (https://mydramalist.com/people/11765-chittsawangdee-pawat) was really the standout performer in this series. I love watching him act. I have watched him before in other series and you can see his skills improving.

I have the habit of always comparing the affection shown between the main couple in all the BLs that I watch to the performance of the actors in Tharntype (https://mydramalist.com/32555-tharntype-the-series). They are my shining example of the affection and romance I would love to see demonstrated in any and all BL series that I watch and Bad Buddy came really close.

As for re-watch value, I started rewatching scenes even before I finished watching the complete series. A scene that I have watched over and over again happened on the stage during rehearsal that involved a tshirt. I will not put a spoiler here but I really recommend watching it.

I have definitely added this to the list of my top 10 favorite BL series.

Lighthearted romp

If I am enjoying a series, I feel it's my duty to take a moment and write a review because I would like to encourage others to watch and enjoy it as well. I found this series one evening when I was scrolling through my Youtube suggested videos to watch. I enjoyed it so much I stayed up all night binge watching all the episodes that had already been uploaded.

I love the light hearted romp that this series offers. I must admit I have two small problems with it. 1) I really could do without the laugh track or at least reduce it a bit and 2) they are taking far too long to develop the romantic relationship between the main characters. Maybe they never will? And, that's okay because I will still have enjoyed the series. There are several moments between Rak and Diao that are totally charming, however, for the most part, Diao (Win Songsin Jaipan https://mydramalist.com/people/89193-win-songsin-jaipan ) does behave like something of a suspicious neurotic. I suppose his high energy, always-jumping-to-conclusions character does keep the story moving forward hilariously. Though… many times, I really would like to see the moments between Rak and Diao become more affectionate and less frenetic. Rak (Earth Thanakrit Talasopon https://mydramalist.com/people/89195-earth-thanakrit-talasopon) is simply a beautiful, patient, caring character whose motives are always misunderstood by Diao and his somewhat lazy, self-serving younger brother.

This is another series where I want to see all the episodes but I don't want it to end because it has been so much fun.

I can't believe I used to be a Hallmark fan

It's been some time since I finished watching this series. I really don't know why I hadn't written a review sooner because it happens to be one of my favorites. Honestly, when I watch series like this I wonder how I ever watched any Hallmark movies.

I truly appreciate the effort they put into actually developing a relationship/romance between the main characters. Something else that I appreciate in romantic series is the enemies to lovers genre. If you love watching BL couples expressing affection, you will love this. It has several very charming moments.

I Loved This Quiet Series

What I loved most about Nitiman was how gently and quietly it progressed.
After watching the whole series I started rewatching my favorite episodes again… several times.

I simply loved how determined and persistent Be Bomb was in his pursuit of Jin's affections although, many times during the series Jin really annoyed me with his seeming lack of interest. What I loved most, were the scenes where Jin would wake up hugging Be Bomb.

My favorite scenes were:
-Jin getting drunk
-Be Bomb getting drunk
- Be Bomb getting assistance in the "affection department" from his friends
- Jin's sisters paying him a surprise visit
- Jin sleeping with his head in Be Bomb's lap
- Be Bombs song to Jin in episode 6
- Be Bombs mother and her treatment of Jin

I also loved the side romance that started developing between Keam and Ball. I truly hope that the producers will turn their romance into a full series. It was adorable to watch.

Overall this is a wonderful watch. I love it.

My All-Time Favorite BL … In Spite of Its 'Issues'

I cannot believe I am just getting around to writing this review.

Simply put, this BL is my all-time favorite. I loved the couple and their initially acerbic relationship. What stands out most for me is the brilliant job the actors did of giving me an utterly convincing performance that they were really into each other. And the affection… My goodness they were affectionate. I truly wish other BL series and actors would follow the example of Tharntype.

And yes! I get it. There were some parts of this series where I went WTF!!! But the reality is that Type was a 'damaged' human and it took Tharn's slight aggressiveness and 'persistence' to deal with it and keep 'plowing' forward. Not all relationships are perfect and for the most part, none are a bed of roses. Tharntype deals with the reality of making the best out of a not great situation and actually coming out on top.

As for rewatching scenes, there are several that I watch over and over again. Small spoiler here… Type pretends to sleep and Tharn comes out of the bathroom and does one of the most beautiful and loving, romantic things I have ever seen portrayed in any romantic series (both hetero and BL) causing Type to realize, to his dismay, that he is actually falling in love with Tharn.

At this point, I really have to make special mention of Type's friend Techno played by Mild Jinna Pichit-o-Pakun (https://mydramalist.com/people/9103-uengtrakul-suttinut). What a wonderful character and what a wonderful job Mild Jinna Pichit-o-Pakun did of rendering him. Viewers can't help but love Techno… at times too frank, hilarious and doing all the right things a truly supportive friend should do. The face full of water that Techno gets for asking a simple question is hysterical.

To the the producer of this series—Tee Bundit Sintanaparadee… I say "I love your work! Thank you for Tharntype and Lovely Writer". Two of my top 10 favorite BL series.

I wish all my fingers were thumbs so that I could give this series 10 thumbs up. This is my all time favorite.

Ohh My God! Talk About Delivering on a Promise…

I remember watching the preview on Youtube and being completely blown away. Well here we are almost two years later and the completed series is blowing me away. Let's just say the producers are not pulling any punches. They went all out. Four episodes in and the romance between Kinn and Porsche is through the roof. After watching several reaction videos on Youtube I knew the time had come for me to hall out my credit card and pay for my subscription to IQiyi so that I could enjoy full screen, complete episodes. Imagine that…the KinnPorsche series caused me to subscribe to a channel.

The delivery of Porsche's character is so well done. He is a wonderfully, smiling screw-up which makes him completely charming and endearing. And—Kinn's protectiveness of Porsche is making me drool. I simply love it.

I will be quite honest, I am somewhat terrified of the possible ending of this series. It is after all very "mafia-esque" in its delivery so I don't see them happily riding off into the sunset. Though, if I had my own way, that is how I would end the series.

If you have not watched it yet, the end of episode four is a must. I have rewatched it about ten times already. Porsche's doped-up character makes the scene so wonderfully charming.

I am truly looking forward to the rest of this series even though I am apprehensive about the end.

Loved it.

Loved it.

When I saw it involved a ghost story I was somewhat hesitant but I found the story interesting. I am truly grateful for a BL series that did not take place in a school setting.

I had only two issues with this series. The dark spirits were too well done (I stopped watching horror movies a long time ago) and in some parts the editing seemed a bit disjointed as if scenes had been cut from the episode.

I loved that they did not shy away from the romantic connection between the leads. It annoys me immensely in some of these BL series when they expect me believe a relationship has developed when the leads stand three feet apart and lean forward and give each other a light brush on the lips.

I ended up finding this series because I went looking for more work by director, Tee Bundit Sintanaparadee. I am finding that I really like his productions so, I have pretty high hopes for Something In My Room. He did a wonderful job with Tharntype and Lovely Writer… two of my favorite BL series.

Plan Thanawat Koosuwan has not done a lot of series but he seems to be a good actor. I have been enjoying Nut Supanut Lourhaphanich in Oxygen on Viki.
