The plot had more holes than a fishing net. No real backstory for key characters, zero logic behind major events (arsenic… that takes over a decade to kick in?), and emotional moments that felt completely unearned.
The romance came out of nowhere, the villain was laughably cliché, and the female lead? Somehow managed to be helpless for twelve straight years.
And don’t get me started on the weird pseudo-incest vibes or the random fantasy elements dropped in with no explanation. It felt like the writers were making things up episode by episode … and not in a good way.
This wasn’t just rushed. It was chaos in a costume drama.
To me this movie doesn't even deserve a 6... a few nice shots and a decent sound can't save a movie that seemes more interested om glorifying than in truly telling a story.
