I get all of that but that doesnt explain his shift in character. Yes his mother was killed and he had reason to blame the organization but randomly killing people is no revenge but madness. Revenge would have been to strategically take down the organization or expose them. He could've done that in a 1000 ways. Plus he was a medical student with an ethic of saving lives.

I really dislike leaving purely negative reviews, but the writing and acting here are impossible to ignore. Everything feels completely forced and acted. The performances are flat and fail to land any emotional weight, while the dialogue is bizarrely written. A prime example is Episode 9: while actively on the run, the main characters casually pause to chat and say, "Let’s get out of here first," instead of actually moving their asses. To make matters worse, their bodyguards shadow them constantly in safe settings like houses and coffee shops, yet vanish the moment actual danger appears. Right.

As soon as he jumped I thought he might survive. I guess he's alive. It was an unknown caller. Doesn't seem very logical to me if the series ends with a prank since it wasn't a comedy. They did not find his body did they?

I still don't understand when he went mad and when and why he became a serial killer. Did I miss that part ?

I did notice moments that hinted at a kind of maternal concern for Yan Tuo, especially when she visited him during his confinement in his own home. Still, to me, her overall demeanor felt too restrained, almost controlled to the point of rigidity, and emotionally distant in a way that made it difficult to perceive her as genuinely caring. Of course, that’s ultimately subjective. It may simply come down to differing expectations in how such emotional nuance is portrayed.

Thanks. I did not see that in her acting and in the end she chose her beast. However that does not explain all of the stupid choices everyone in this drama made ;D. I guess the director is to blame. There are dramas that lack logic way more than this one but since some choices actually made sense, it bothered me more.

They try to make it all seem so logical, with clever decision-making—but Yan Tou makes just as many mistakes as the hunters. I keep thinking, seriously? No precautions at all? Like why enter the hotel with the woman and not separately. Why didn't Miss Lin just install spying software on their phones to know what they're doing and where they are. So stupid, haha

I hope they do the werewolf theme justice. Not like most kdramas where there's barely any blood and thry focus on romance or illogical stuff. Heartbeat disappointed in that aspect.

A few things remain unclear. Hes suppose to have heterochromia [one eye green] due to his ability, yet there are only a few scenes where we can actually see it.
