I was just writing this entire reply, and remember not everyone thinks the same. And I have been down this rabbit hole of none stop back and forth before, so not again lol
So far really enjoying this, slowly catching up, on episode 9.
* 2nd leads both are a little annoying, both blindly chasing someone that clearly has no interest in the,.
* The comments hating on the ML, the only thing (Bare in mind I have only watched 9 episodes) I think of that he could be called out on his behaviour with 2FL, but really, his mothers pushing if not forcing him into being with her, as well as the 2FL is too an extent as well (same as 2ML pursuing the FL) up until the FL returns the ML was cold as ice to 2FL, 2FL was shocked that he agreed to marry her, she is obviously aware that he has no interest in her that way, which shows.
* My views on what has previously happened are obviously based on what has been revealed upto Ep 9.
*FL seems way to detached and cold considering as far as am aware knows that Le Xuan is her son, after having the DNA test. As for the past although I haven't gotten that far, I ruined it by watching a Youtube short showing the ML's mother telling her child has died in childbirth then chasing her away to France. I get she is traumatised she lost her child, but she left without even saying goodbye to the guy she apparently loves, assuming there may be more to this revealed later..
* ML I understand, from his perspective he and his child were abandoned by the woman he loved, and he even went to Paris for however long to look for her but she was nowhere to be found. So I get his coldness and how he is with 2FL were he has just gone with the motions. The 2FL and his mother have basically decided for him, which kind of me takes some sympathy from the 2FL.
The one thing I don't get is when she ran off to Paris, this is 2010 and your telling me he could never get in touch with her ever. And then he never kicks off on here when she finally shows up 12 years later and ignores her own son. Hoping this is all explained properly.
* I get with her dad going missing and the death of ML's uncle, assuming he r*ped the young worker and got caught by FL's father etc But I still can't see why some of the above happens

Why is FL angry at her uncle for telling her fiancé another man has been spending time with her, and is currently alone in her apartment at night, only for her to lie about it.
What I find funny is how is she so naive and gullible yet have a friend like Zhao Di.
Edit :- Finished Average out of what I've seen probably my least favourite Zhao Lusi drama. The big age gap. I don't have an issue in general, just they should of had both characters older like at least 7 years, FL 27-28 And ML 44ish, would have worked more. FL would have been more mature, have her career fully up, maybe even have her restaurant etc.
If this is reality then I really wouldn't see their relationship lasting more than a few years unless she gave up her dream?

But if I was ML I would have told FL's "Husband" about what happened on Jeju island when I met them, and definitely what I saw between Son Yu and Ha Yeong I would have told FL about, although he never told SML that FL cheated (fake) on him, he would be a hypocrite if he told FL about SML supposed cheating on her. Now it would only be to his benefit.
I am enjoying the show the chemistry is great, it's just all this is built around the premise that ML thinks the FL cheated on her husband etc and how lightly the characters treat it. Even though I know there is no cheating it would be nice for them have taken it a little more serious, the ML is probably the one who took it more serious due to his mom but he is now a little less bothered and is jealous lol.
