Title Lovestruck in the City Spoiler
This show is the hardest show I have had to rate, originally I was going to go 6/10 or lower but the more I watched, I changed my mind I gave it 8/10 so I think the 7.9 is about right.
I can understand why some give it 9 or 10/10 and also those that gave it 5/10.

I almost dropped it several times during the 1st 5 episodes that took me 4 days to watch 5 x 30 minutes episode, if this was a normal 16 x 1 hr drama I probably would have dropped it before episode 4. It definitely is better in the second half, except it does mess some things up the last 2 episodes or so.

I question my rating because I didn't like certain actions some characters take, although when thinking about it I guess they do happen in reality, even though they probably make the worst choice available which does happen but not as often as the better choices if that makes sense, which is the reason I increased my final rating.

- I did not like the documentary style filming and it did not grow on me either, if I didn't like the actors portraying the leads I probably would have dropped it.
- Unlike some comments below I did not find the male lead a simp, some of the others yes to an extent.

Couples.
* Jae Won and Eun Oh/Sun Ah
JW I had no issue whatsoever with ML he was kind and nice and I never thought he did anything remotely red flag, He fell in love and knew FL loved him, and his spiral afterwards was well warranted.
EO/SA Now FL on the other hand yes I get why she did it etc But she had multiple times to correct what she did, if she was to scared embarrassed to admit it in person, she could have told him the truth when she left the voice mail saying she stole his cameras, or she could have sent him a email video explaining what she did and why, she didn't to tell him her real identity, just simply give the poor b*stard some closure and understanding of what happened.
Even after he finds her and confronts her she is still lying.
Her character did improve in my opinion when she actually started telling the truth admitting she's hurting and she needs time to discover herself, fair enough but still doesn't really forgive her initial errors.

* Kyung Joon and Rin Yi
Now these two were originally my favourite thing about the show until they ruined it the last 2 episodes.
Yes KJ tried to get her to change etc he admits this, but she never really communicates what so ever and even Kang Gun calls her on this at one point asking has she ever told KJ this.
In relationships people change and compromise for each other, I found she made zero attempt to change or make compromises for the man she claimed to love, and then finally I saw it coming a mile away - She say's at one point to the camera that once its over move on, and then there's that final scene episode 16 when KJ rings her and the guy answers heavily implying she has already moved on which seemed to be very soon like with 24 hours or a few days minimum,
How I took at that was a it's unhealthy for you to that also it's disrespectful to your Ex someone she claimed she loved but couldn't be with and she has hooked up with someone immediately, and the fact that the guy answered makes me think she asked him to answer the call on purpose which comes of spiteful, and trying to hurt him on purpose.
I actually would of liked a scene at the end of Episode 17 revealing she never did that and it was a work colleague who answered her phone and did that on purpose with out her knowing as he liked her.
But it left it how it was leaving her as my least liked character, I know some people unfortunately do that in real life but It made really dislike that character.

* Kang Gun And Sun Young
Well lol
I would call him the simp of the group waiting for her to date around until she's ready for him, they both like each other but she's to messed up to be with some long term, dude should move on, although the end of episode 17 felt like he was kinda admitting he did indeed like Eun Ho so Sun Young was right lol

* And Finally Hae Na and the police officer
Feel sorry for the guy here, so he has clearly loved her for a very long time, and she has liked him for awhile.
I had an issue with this particular once because she wants her first kiss with someone she likes,
- She doesn't ask permission (Not that bigger a deal as he as interested)
- The issue was that she was doing that so she could then go and make out with an actor on that shoot. If he was me and she told me what was about to happen then I would have said no.
- The talk she has about a minute and how long their lives are, gave me the impression she knew full well they were never going to be together due to her career and she wanted that good memory for her first kiss, so I felt she used him there.

Anyway I guess it was average 8/10

to be honest:— hate main FL:— love her friends;— love everyone else's romance:— watch it as a last resort…
5 Episodes in and 7.9 rating seems generous.
- Although it hasn't been mentioned so far, I know from comments FL was cheated on by her Ex, She may be hurt but she is not that psychologically traumatized she doesn't know what she is doing, she states she knew I was wrong and I would hurt him, So just because someone hurt her doesn't give her the right to harm others to feel better, now if she had, had a breakdown then fair enough, I have very little sympathy up to now.
- ML so far is great, maybe too trusting.
- 3rd female seems miserable so far, acts like a playgirl but looks as if she is about to breakdown every time she is onscreen.
- The other couples have not seen enough of yet.
- Hate the documentary style thing.
- It's took me like 4 days to watch 5 30 minute episodes, that tells me something when I have finished 40 episode 1 hour each Chinese showsin not much longer lol

Edit - Watching EP 6, So ML' cousin is dating someone FL has known since kindergarten and they hangout together, pre leads meeting up, but in what 10 years they never met WOW.

See her in Would You Marry Me? in Ep. 7 at 0:07:10 or 0:52:40 for example. Like 30 or so.
I think I remember seeing her. She is 3 - 4 years older than me and looks 10 years younger lol

I randomly fell in to KDrama's 2 years ago, I have branched into Cdrama's and the occasional Taiwanese.

I have watched one or to J Drama's and enjoyed them but I have had problems getting fully immersed and I can't say why.

The 1st one about not as attractive actors, I mean considering the sheer amount of plastic onscreen in K Drama's and Hollywood that is a positive in my opinion.

I haven't read the full article so I am not touching on each point.

** I'm not sure but I would assume it depends which you got into 1st If I had watched 30 J Drama's before watching a K Drama, I may very well prefer J over K.

I remember even with Kdrama's it took a little to get into coming from mostly U.S & U.K shows. It may also depend on what you start with as well, I think my first K Drama was The Beauty Inside (2018 Series) and was almost addicted but still took an effort to stick with, 90% of what I watch now is Asian.

But If I had started with something that I have since dropped I may have gave up altogether,
Maybe if my 1st K drama was "Oh My Ladylord" which I just could not finish lol or one of the shows I haven't tried that got everyone riled up.

Title Love Reset
Got about halfway through, but I just couldn't. I didn't like any of the characters and had a hard time understanding…
I was like that until I remembered, they're already at divorce stage at the start, So what we see is memories from perspective of two people who have gotten to that stage.

so i guess it's the point, to make the viewer think why are they together,
ML even says something along those lines after getting his memory back that he never stopped loving her just that the bad memories started outweighing the good..
Literally the opposite of rose tinted glasses.

Strong average for me 8.5/10.
Nothing too heavy and taxing just relax and enjoy.

True very little backstory, I don't remember many scenes of them happy pre or post marriage and FL didn't come of that great in the flashbacks. But I guess as they were getting divorced they're are remembering the bad points so fair enough.

By the end I was half expecting the reveal that Na Ra faked losing her memory.

Bit off topic but JSM looked amazing in this.

Oh just watched the previews at the end of Episode 3 and your right.
Still though maybe they never knew about their father lol
I can't see that happening unless they got interrupted and nothing happened between them?

Yep precisely, He literally enslaves himself to the company, when she's apparently been cheating with multiple men. Which made me speculate why he would be willing to protect her.
Or he is just yet another simp, I hope not.

I still can't figure out who's likely the killer. If it was a premeditated murder, there must be motive. Why would…
Wouldn't be surprised if Hye Ju's fathers company is involved.
I'm randomly speculating ML & Hye Ju never dated and are actually half siblings.
Unless I missed it, they never explicitly say they dated.

I love Maeng Se Na she might honestly be one of my favorite FLs in a while but finding out she didn’t sleep…
He did also basically save her life, so there's much more to it for her specifically.

Really enjoying this so far.
I'm going down a weird path with my thinking for the plot.
Unless I missed it, the ML or Hye Joo never mentioned they dated, other characters just assume it.
His father hasn't been mentioned and she's the illegitimate child of the (something) group,, what if they're half siblings, same father ?

And it's your decision not to care about their actions whether they hurt others or not.So other people have the…
Then it's not cheating, it would be a form of open marriage.

Definition from google -
No, it's generally not cheating if your partner consents, because cheating is defined as breaking the agreed-upon rules and trust in a relationship; with consent, you're following the established rules, potentially moving towards ethical non-monogamy or an open relationship, not violating them. However, true consent requires full, enthusiastic, and ongoing understanding from both parties, and any breach of specific conditions (like not sleeping with certain people) would then become cheating.

She didn't and nothing happened tho it was pure drunk comedy.
Will give it a go, seriously bored of all the cheating and adultery, if I can avoid it I will lol.
The clip is really misleading, although waking up in someone's hotel room when your in a relationship is bad enough to be honest.

8 episodes down, and I'm enjoying it, nothing to heavy, easily digestible. Unless the final 2 episodes are terrible then this is a 8/10.
