For me it all started with Extraordinary Attorney, Woo in 2022. Despite this wasn't my first kdrama it was the…
YES! Extraordinary Attorney Woo was my first! Partly because my grandson is autistic. Then I watched The Kings Affection because of Park Eun-Bin and the rest is history for me!! Old shows or new I watch what I can.

I started in 2018 or 2019 with Signal, Children of Nobody, Vagabond, Save Me and others that were similar. It's…
I agree with what you are saying about barely watching American shows since I have been watching kdramas. I would suggest anybody who is tired of K dramas start watching some American TV shows or movies and they will understand why I will continue to watch Kdramas.

What's wrong with Kopiko, Subway, Kia, all kinds of brands of water, LOL, coloured cool drinks (didn't catch their…
I loved it. I bought a Kia Sportage in 2007 and loved it. I now have a 2023 Kia Sportage and got all excited when I saw the Kia Sportage in While You Were Sleeping. You would think I was in the movie myself!! LOL But I do also notice a lot of scenes where product placements are used but blurred out or something is placed over the emblem, such as in To the Beautiful You when Choi Min Ho wore a Nike shirt and they put something black over the Nike emblem.

What genre C-dramas are you looking for, because there are excellent examples in all genre sans cheese and corn.
Oh wow, thank you so much! I have heard of a few of these. At least with recommendations it gives me a little confidence that I can see something worthwhile. I will probably watch all of them.
Again, thank you I appreciate your thoughtful response.

Oh also not so much into horror. I love Song Kang and Park Seo Joon but I’m having a very hard time watching Sweet Home and Gyeongseong Creature.

LOL! I don’t really know I have just clicked on random titles in Netflix or Prime and if I do a little preview, they just look too amateurish (As in the filming, I guess) or too much like extreme fantasy. I haven’t really searched specifically for a particular genre of C drama but if you can make a recommendation, I’m willing to try anything. I think part of my reluctance also is because it’s another language and I’ve gotten used to the Korean sound.

If by not being conventionally good looking means they don’t look like they just came out of a k-pop boy band. I’m good with that. I think Na In Woo is absolutely good looking and sexy! As for C-dramas the only ones I have ever tried to watch, turned out to be too corny/cheesy.

I loved this all the way through so funny, I love Gong Yoo, I loved all the twists and turns, however it
seems someone forgot how it was supposed to end!! So confusing and disappointing🫤

kang ye seo in sky castle sugary character I think you have her confused with her Danoh characer in Extraordinary…
Yes, I see what you are saying but I was talking about the façade that she puts out the fake front that she’s so sweet and nice. Her is tremendous that’s why I say any actress that can make me hate the character she plays like in Snowdrop is awesome. However, as she says, these young men would have made it on their own, and I feel did make it on their own and did not need her assistance or influence.

I guess since I saw Byeon Woo Seok first in Flower
Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency I don’t see her as
being an influence in his popularity. Aa a K drama fan I was not introduced to her until much later when I
saw her in Snowdrop, and I disliked her character
immensely and was not a fan.
That being said, I will admit that an actor that can make me hate the character must be very good. I also feel that the good girl persona she presents as Kang Ye Seo in Sky Castle is so over the top sweet it’s like
using two packs of sweet and low when a half pack
will do! LOL. Again, I say that an actor who can make me dislike or hate the character they portray must be very good at their job, but that does not discount the fact that I have always admired the acting of the young men I saw before I ever saw her. That includes all
three young men mentioned In the article: Byeon
Woo Seok, Rowoon and Lee Jae Wook. I don’t feel
any of them needed any help bringing out their
acting skills.

I have not seen Hwayi , but definitely Yi Heon! I was wondering the same thing how was he not a villain. Maybe…
I can assure you if it’s Yeo Jin Goo, I am also biased! I know what you mean as I was also sorry for how
things turned out for the king. I will be watching
everything I can with him. I just started Il Ji Mae
after recently finishing Beyond Evil. I well, look for
that other movie on my new Rakuten VIKI Platform.

If he’s not dating her, I hope he has someone he can share his down time with.
I have enjoyed watching programs with Byeon Woo Seok since I saw him in Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency about a year and a half ago. 20th Century Girl left me shocked, angry, and sad and Strong Girl Namsoon Just hurt my heart because I felt he never had a chance in life. I’m just an old softie and I know what a bad person his character was.
