There is an English dubbed version but I don't recommend that one bc the ML dubber speaks with an American accent. Very disturbing. Enjoy!

Lemme just tell you that Yang Mi has a very reedy, thin, squeaky and cringe voice, her entire career was just made by her amazing voice dubber. Dilraba on the other hand has a strong and lovely voice, her career has been held back by the high pitched and silly voice her voice dubber loves to give her.

Its not, the MDL calendar is wrong.

Yes they do and they still have to do it properly so the dubber can match the words to the lip movement. Sometimes the HK actors actually speak cantonese which is kind of bizarre to watch the BTS.

No most c-dramas are dubbed to eliminate regional dialects to ensure proper standard mandarin is spoken. Plus the sets are noisy it costs a lot more to do on-set recording. Professional voice actors are commonly used to do the dubbing. I have never heard Dilraba's use her own voice/dub herself. I just associate her with the childish Bai Fengjiu voice actor who I believe is doing Changge (very well I may add). But I still prefer her own voice, I have a totally different impression of Dilraba after hearing her speak.

The Rise of Phoenixes. Its a very flawed drama but his role Ning Yi is my favourite drama character ever. :)

Yups... he is all grown up hotness now - I know the angular chiselled look is more manly but boy do I so terribly miss his gorgeously rounded cheeks! I am so, so, so glad the signature Fei Liu fierce don't mess with me frown is still there though.
