LMAO - my thoughts exactly on Mayang St!!! I actually really like her I think her personality is totally adorable. But when I see her play the same person over and over and over I realize she is actually not acting, she is just being herself!!!

Although I really like Tang Yan, her face is too sweet... I think this is a better role for Nini or Li Yi Tong. I think Tang Yan will quite do well at it anyway she just doesn't have a tragic face... I am prepared for a tragedy so anything else is gonna be great.

I think this is a very fair criticism and I can't help but agree and yet I can't put my finger on exactly why but I still like her. Maybe it is because all I have seen lately are really obnoxious, stupid, whiny and noisy FLs...

I like all 3 MLs... how does JJY always seem to pull off being surrounded by hotties??? First time I am watching the ML - I really like him. He is subtle, has substance and a quiet sense of humor and the aloofness is consistent with the way the character is written. I also really like the SML and I won't be that upset if she ends up with him. But my favorite by far is the sorta bad boy young marquis.

Didn't watch the other drama but I am enjoying this too. I have to admit I am disappointed Ju Jing Yi is the pretty much same here as she is in In A Class of Her Own. But truth be told, so is Seven Tan (yawn!)... Its so sad so few Chinese actresses have any real range but it is just as much the writing as it is the acting.

I hope its good... I can watch tragedies as long as I empathize with the leads...

Hopefully calling in the emperor's favor is going to be enough to save AJuan and family. I suppose if step mom stole the money and gave it mostly to her own family and not her husband's family there is a stronger case to save them.

Yes it is the same terrible styling they used for her in In A Class of Her Own. Those little catfish whisker bits of hair on her face are so annoying I feel like wrestling her to the ground and snipping it off. And her eyeshadow color makes her look sallow and like she cries herself to sleep every night. Its so bad it is really distracting.

Definitely but truth be told most ML characters are kind of boring anyway. I just think some of these actors should really shake things up by playing a villain every now and then. But there is some kind of taboo like oh no, once a villain always a villain...

I have never watched him before but I will observe that when Ren Jialun tried to play a different more lively character similar to his off screen personality no one liked it. No one. So be careful what you wish for...

Forever would be better but I guess too much to hope for. The good news is we don't have to watch and we can smack it with a super low rating so that production companies get the message that we don't like that kind of stuff.

It doesn't have to be done that way, it can be just the criminal or it can be extended to the entire clan going down several generations. Depends on the sentencing. In Maiden Holmes the FL entire clan was wiped out.

Yes indeed, I started Journey Across but then I got busy and by the time I went back to it I lost track of the plot. I need to rewatch to continue but don't feel motivated... I will wait until I completely forget it and then start from the beginning. Would love to hear what you think about it when you are done...
On Miss S I really didn't like the actress she overacts and there is too much fashion plate like "English lady" like posing and not enough crime solving. But beautiful costumes etc - check it out anyway you may like it a lot of people do...
