After post production, the actors go back to re-record their lines, which is what dubbing is. Some actors dub themselves while others are dubbed by professional voice artists. In this case, both LYN and SZE dub themselves.

This is Deng Ke's problem. He uses a very heavy filter and a lot of skin smoothing. It makes her look gorgeous of course but it does obscure some of her more subtle expressions. He was so heavy handed in Shen Li he made Zhao Liying look like nothing more than an angry bird the whole time.

IMHO that is another very stretched plot arc. There were so many bags of grain. To think skinny little Zheng Shu managed to do it bit by bit all by herself!🤷‍♀️ Not to mention how Yulou managed to get it steamed and dried bag by bag undetected in the Wei mansion. All in time for grandma's birthday. Really?
