Yeah I don't know what they are talking about. Even though I have to admit that ZLY's acting in SOML was a lot better than Ren Min's is in TRON, Ren Min actually much better matches the Song dynasty beauty standard than ZLY does.

I think in the excitement they forgot that the misunderstanding is negligible. LSY had obtained Wang Yuan's document indicting LJX for his crimes; that was what he was there to exchange for the release of YN. LJX would have been demoted further and exiled as a slave for his crimes. I somehow doubt he can marry a county princess.😅😂

I don't think fan service should be a consideration in how a character's end is written. If they wanted to give him a "good death", they should have made him less dark. Maybe make him kind of forced by Wang Yuan to carry out some of his most questionable actions or at least show that he had some sense of inner conflict. I would also have enjoyed the story more if they made him more multi-faceted but they didn't. In SOML, the FL chose the ML who was also flawed over a very good but weak man. In this story, the FL simply chooses a good man over a bad man. That's really a too obvious choice.
