I started my journey in South Korean movies, TV-series, music, etc. back in November 2011, after stumbling onto the two movies "Once Upon a Time in High School" 말죽거리 잔혹사 (2004) and "A Moment to Remember" 내 머리 속의 지우개 (2004), which still to this day remain my all-time favorite movies. Actress Son Ye-jin became my "first love", as she was able to touch me so much that I started really tearing up every time I saw her cry. Her early work really touched me deeply. For a while, I had this almost religious feeling about "A Moment to Remember" and I got very emotional (still do) when listening to the main theme melody or main song, which to me are really masterpieces in terms of music. The South Korean movies opened up a whole new world to me, a new passion and heartfelt interest, and I even got super hooked and started watching TV-series and listening to music by South Korean singers on YouTube... I think what it boils down to is the feeling I get when I watch and listen to a movie, TV-series or hear music. It even went so far that I flew over to South Korea that following summer. There are so much talent and beauty, and stuff that I have a bit of a hard time describing, but that I can connect deeply with - a unique deep feeling, like I have finally gotten home... I think it is as though I been feeling kind of lost, and now I have found myself again. My favorite genera are dramas and romantic dramas. Often these movies have really nice soundtracks, which is a very important part of the movie in my opinion.
