Beautiful beyond words!

It's been more than a year since I watched Ashes of Love for the first time. Ever since the first time, I've watched it all over again for a countless no. of times. Every single time I would realize something which I didn't decipher before. What a great journey!
Right now, it's been 5 or 6 months since I've seen any clip or episode of the phenomenal drama. Not because I don't want to (I would love to watch it all over again), but because one of the things which I've learnt from Jin Mi and Xu Feng is that when you love someone, you don't have to see them everyday, as long as they're in your heart, it's all good. But, I still daydream about them from time to time.

I've actually learnt a lot from this show, like being responsible for your own actions and facing them with courage, being selfless, not to take anyone or anything for granted, Karma and a lot more. You might find it crazy that I learnt something from a drama, but if you look around yourself, there's always going to be something to learn from, you just need the eyes to see it and the heart to feel it, so learning something from a drama is not such a big deal.

I swear all the actors did a great job, literally everyone. Not to mention the epic chemistry between the main leads. I became a huge fan of Yang Zi and Deng Lun after this drama. Even after a year, they're still my idols and I still ship them with all my heart.

I was actually hesitating a lot before watching this show because of the no. of episodes and the fact that it's historical. It's my first historical drama, I was only interested in modern dramas. Yet, I decided to give a try because of many recommendations and the drama, "Skate into love" and then man, did I get hooked ever since the first episode or what! The first half is light-hearted and will make you laugh your longs out, but the second half is so depressed and will make you bawl your eyes out. All the characters have a backstory of their own, which tells us that nobody is born evil or good. This also makes you sympathize every single villian. There are also some characters which will make you laugh a little during the depressing scenes, Fox Fairy and Pu Chi. I love these two, they're always there for Jin Mi, Xu Feng and Run Yu.

In the end, all I want to say is that it's an amazing drama with great CGI, beautiful OST, talented cast and a heart wrenching plot.
