Watched this coz their weren't enough Zhao Lusi and Liu Yuning dramas I could watch. Watched and stayed for Zhao Lusi, skimmed through a lot though (especially when 2nd leads weren't on screen hihi). Couldn't see the chemistry of the main leads but damn Dilraba is blindingly beautiful!

This is one of those dramas that has high rewatch quality. They were a perfect pair to each other, complementing each other. She has her own individuality, but also supported him which made them the best team.I got here after watching Pursuit of Jade, and while I enjoyed POJ, TPOB has a great story-telling and depiction of the war and conflict. You can appreciate it even without having to read the novel. In terms of depiction of war, I would put this up there with Love Like the Galaxy and Who Rules The World (only coincidentally that they are both Zhao Lusi dramas).Enjoyed TPOB terribly. Will be a regular on my rewatch list. 我很喜欢

This was surprisingly one of favorites of GYX.

I'm surprised the ranking is quite high up there. The drama was great, just didn't think it would ranked so well.
