I am finding this intriguing but the FL is very childish I prefer strong FL’s still trying to make it through few more episodes if this works for me, anyone who has watched will she behave maturely or this will be the pattern ?
Absolutely loved this drama! Every character was fantastic, but the actor who played the Jinxiu Emperor deserves a special mention. Despite how terrible his character was, I actually felt bad for him and that says so much about the strength of his acting.
Chen Zheyuan and Li Qin were incredible as expected, and even the supporting characters including Suige’s soldiers were brilliant. The cast as a whole delivered perfectly.
The series felt a little short, but that worked in its favour. The screenplay was tight, engaging, and without any unnecessary fillers. A truly gripping watch from start to finish.
This drama was a lot of fun! It’s actually the first time I found myself frustrated by the male lead he was cutely unbearable in the best way possible. There were plenty of laughs throughout, and even though some parts felt a bit dragged and a few side characters didn’t really hold my interest, the overall experience was still really enjoyable. It’s definitely not your usual K-drama, and that’s what made it refreshing and entertaining.
Did the Leaving Soon announcement disappear for you as well? I can't see it anymore for any other dramas that…
Same I am planning this is really frustrating I hate watching dramas so fast and this one has 16 episodes I wanted to watch this slowly as I am already in a slump as to what do I watch after this :(
It was a decent one-time watch, but honestly, I didn’t like the female lead at all. Ju Ji-hoon looked great and delivered a solid performance, but something about the role just didn’t suit him he’s definitely better in more intense, substantial roles. While the drama had its share of funny moments, overall it felt pretty forgettable. Nothing particularly special stood out.
Woo Bin was absolutely fantastic, and Suzy delivered a strong performance as well both carried the show effortlessly. However, the script felt rather bland, and the side characters were almost unbearable at times, dragging down the overall flow.Episode 11 was easily the highlight everything seemed to click there, and all the emotional weight finally landed. If the rest of the show had that same spark, it could’ve been something truly special.Overall, it’s a decent attempt with stellar acting, but the writing lacked depth and consistency. Not much rewatch value, but worth a one-time watch for Woo Bin and Suzy’s amazing performances. Bottomline - Not bad but not good !
