Yall I dont know why some of yall are so hard of SRQ and the drama producers/ directors. Yes SRQ is annoying and he deserves to die but he's a crucial element in the drama as the main villain, of course he's going to get screen time. In which costume drama do you not see the villain leading up to the last episode? And in which costume drama does the main villain die before the last episode? None. Give them a break. I'd say its a win for the drama already that there aren't any unnecessary deaths or unnecessary sad endings.
Can someone explain to me the below? not sure if i can call them plotholes but I cant really wrap my head around some of the happenings in the drama: 1. Why did the Cui guy attempt to assassinate and rebel against General Qin? What contribution does that do for the plot? Only for him to die again at the hands of the Qin siblings? 2. Why did the emperor poison prince Cheng even though he's been consistently and openly opposing Chuan from becoming emperor? Like HUHHH?
Lmao i love that Xiao Hengs weapon of choice is a fan. Like you dont see that often in cdrama land. But then wtf is his fan made out of?! Its practically indestructible against swords π
1 and 2.0Sol only kept her distance from Sunjae. She can still be friends with taesung. Might have bumped into…
Yall are amazing and all your points make sense, thanks for that! I just hope they do address them in the next 2 eps. My only fear is if they rush the ending, I hope they dont, seems like a lot to pack into the last 2 eps .
I've got so many questions. It was good and logical up to ep 12, but ep 13 and 14 opened up a few plotholes imo. I'd be disappointed if they dont address this in the last 2 eps:
1. If sol went back in time to prevent sunjae from meeting, and moved away, how is she still friends with Tae Sung?? And how did she end up setting him straight from his hooligan ways? I'm assuming they didnt date since ep 14 taeseong doesnt address sol as his exgirlfriend. And they also werent friends in the original timeline. Do they just expect us to believe they became friends behind the scenes? 2. How did Tae Sung become a cop? (It would have made sense if its to protect Sol 15 years later since he knew shes from the future, but since she travelled back in time again and the incident didnt happen... how did he choose to become a cop still since he wasnt one in the original timeline?) 3. How the heck is Sunjae getting memories of his "past life" since technically its still the same life?? Hope they explain this. I feel like the only logical explaination is if he had also travelled back in time but without his memories so theyre only now slowly coming back. Anything else just wouldnt make sense. 4. Is grandma a deity of some sort? 5. How did Sunjae become an actor instead?
I usually hate breakups in dramas, but for some reason I kind of liked that they broke up here, anyone else agrees? I even replayed the scene with their breakup OST playing in the background to feel the feels lmaoo. Hu yi tian usually has the same stoic expressions, so its nice to finally see some raw emotions in the breakup scene, which is also beneficial towards the plot progression.
Why is that king so mean? What problem does he have with Hua family?I believe that Hua Zhi is being reasonable…
Emperor is a narcissist. He cant stand anyone else being better or having more respect than him, yanxi included. Hence his obsession with Hua family cos hes freaking insecure
I have a theory that for most Chinese dramas, the leads donβt get together until at least 75% of the way through,…
Youre so right about this! So far the only drama ive seen break this trend is Amidst a Snowstorm of Love. Other than that it takes forever for the leads to get together man, like come on alreadyyyyyy
Not to hate on BOA, but did she get lip fillers? She looks different somehow. Rather irked by the stiff upper lip during all her scenes. And is it just me or does her lipstick always look smudged??
