She created and maintained that mountain workshop to make counterfeit brocade and hope that it would go mainstream. They tried to pressure FL to sell herself and the family to them so they can dominate the market. But she failed and he didn't find her useful anymore and wanted to marry her off again. Im at the part where her husband takes her place and she's outside the tent asking for forgiveness. I dont know if she's still a big obstacle going forward.

She would have totally been alone without him. They were haven for each other from their home life. Plus, he's her childhood sweetheart who she outgrown.

He gives her character depth. He probably will risk his life to save her later in the drama to redeem himself. I kind of feel sad for him.

They had to make him the villian so the FL would pick the ML. The FL wouldn't abandoned him otherwise.

Thought she killed them or had them killed.

Im obsessed. Love this drama so far. Im trying to pace myself but they need to release the express pass now.

Not really. She was collateral damage. He wanted to leave his company but knew the boss would blackmail him to renew his contract. So he got someone to start the plagiarism scandal to tie her hands. Her
backup to that was going after Guyi and making her a scapegoat to the fallout when they reveal the truth.

Im not trying to change your mind. I just disagree and listed my reasons. In real life I wouldn't trivialize mental illness but this is a drama. I just think it's extreme to call the FL toxic and abusive because you want to put ML in a bubble.

He shouldn't have brought her home with him. Didnt his doctor tell him this but he's doing his own thing.

It's a romcom. It's not a documentary. I dont take it very seriously. Im just watching it for the romance not the trauma. But to each their own. People will have different experiences with this drama.

We all come with emotional baggage. It's symbolic that he rents that big trailer truck for her baggage and his invisible ones.

Are we watching the same drama? She likes him for all the sweet things he does while hiding behind his condition. She understands that there's more to him than his condition. May people just writes him off as
being cold and emtionless person. She very patient and understanding towards him.
She uses metaphors to help him understand. She doesn't see him as an object. It's him that see her as an object. He's
able to
discard and
cut her off
when it's
inconvenient
for him.

I think she did think about it. She had that conversation with her mom and her mom told her that she can't understand his situation without being in it. She cant be his painkiller. She did her best to stay away. He pulled her back. He knows she has a soft spot for him but he pulls her back. Does his condition give him the right to abuse her?

lie. Her mom knew that they broke up. She called to say that she sent food to the house and for him to remember to put in fridge and not skip meals. He used this as an excuse to get Guyi to by. As for the slap, it's her way of making him feel the pain he's inflicting on her. It was a breaking point for her. She was ready to let him go but he keeps pulling her back only to be dropped when it's inconvenient for him. She only slapped him not body slam him. It's her only way of getting back at him since he hides behind the no emotions wall.
