I think it makes sense. She grew up with him and sees him as a brother. She doesn't love him to marry him. The novel doesn't make sense since she's Empress, how does she expect him not to have concubines and other consorts and children thru them?

I kind of agree. She goes out of her way to be considerate about his eyes and helps him during the promotion. And all he wants to do is bust her so she's scrambling to not get caught. Granted, its disturbing that she killed off her side characters but it's also disturbing that he easily fall for them in such a brief time. Im not sure if I'm even rooting for them to be a couple. I like the SFL so much better. Not that I dont like FL, I just think she's like a doormat for TQ. Not sure if it's because he's her boss and she needs to curry favors so he would overlook her absence at work.

I seriously dont think she hid her past from her friends. Think this is a deep agenda for them to get closer to Hai guy. A lot of double crossing going on here with the villians.

She did but it declined when RR used the break the galaxy spell. The 2nd time mrw stopped her and it backfired because she didn't have enough spiritual energy. Plus, I dont think mrw was very diligent in cultivating. She rather to leech off people or absorb their energy.
