Oh it’s super confusing and I still haven’t quite figured it out. I’ve watched the movie a few times too.

I’m just curious… what did you enjoy about “The Water”? My favorite Englot project personally is Petrichor. I feel like not many people give it much thought. But I have to say that Charlotte’s acting in The Water is like god-tier amazing.

Did you watch Heart Code? Also a good one.

The red string… we did see it disappear. Haha now my brain hurts because I thought I had it figured out. This kind of reminds me of Uranus 2324. Trying to puzzle that one out hurt my brain. 🫣

Same here! I was hoping for Peem in the end somehow, but I’m glad it wasn’t p’le or Rann. I wish some of the bigger networks would take a look at how successful LBD and Heart Code are, and model after them.

That’s what made me think of it too… because P’Le leaving her at graduation the way she did, really messed her up… so it would have also been plausible to have a dream where she realizes that she needs to come back after England… instead of staying there after school. I’m rewatching it again and the number of parallels in the first episode and the last episode is just… chef’s kiss. They did an amazing job with this series.

So did Rann really time travel, or was it all just a dream she had the night that P’Le left her after she graduated? Which, in turn, gave her a different course of action. That’s how I see it. I don’t believe that Rann actually turned back time, but rather dreamed of what could/would happen if she were to stay away for too long after she finishes her initial studies in London. Just my thoughts. Because I’ve had very vivid dreams of things happening in the future, then months later, they actually happen. This is what I think really happened.

I’m deciding to rewatch this series and take on 1-2 episodes per day (instead of one every week), and I’m discovering that this is a really great drama! I’m loving it the second time around. Would love to see a director’s cut released because I know that there's a lot that was taken out… but overall, this should be well above an 8.0.

This GL is absolutely phenomenal!

I really like Oom and Bam together. Channel 3 does a great job at pairing actresses up in the GL’s (even Tan/Yada would have become a great pairing if they had more time). Fulfill was probably my favorite story out of the 4 with MSZ right behind it. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the new season on Ch. 3 GL’s (In Love Forever, Pls. Love). Interested to see how they handle those. If it’s anything like my TSOU, then both stories have a nice chance of doing well.

Last I heard, they were filming Q18. I would say maybe later this year, early next year… at the latest.

That’s what happens when kisses are scripted and directed. FreenBecky kisses are different because they don’t rehearse them… they literally kiss and go with the feelings. JanJing will get there in time, I believe. This is a new pairing and Jan gets hella shy around everything Jingjing does. They will get better at it as they become more comfortable.

Don’t come at me but… I just rewatched the trailer and everything that was portrayed in the trailer has been portrayed in the show so far. Does the storytelling feel choppy? Yes. Are the romantic scenes as steamy as they could have been? No. Are there plot holes that make parts of the story confusing? Yes. Should this have been 24 episodes or more just because it deals with so many main characters and complex storylines for each (and more episodes could have given the characters the depth that’s needed to tell this kind of story)? 100% However, if you look at it from a different perspective (one where it’s just 6 girls trying to navigate surviving in the the environments around them, instead of a GL), then you see the story differently and it makes it better. And don’t get me started on the acting because 100/10 easily!! All of the girls are so incredibly talented. So, just enjoy this story for what it is… I’m honestly not disappointed.

Unpopular Opinion: I didn’t care much for Harmony Secret. I mean, it was good because of LMSY and LillyBelle, but it just didn’t deliver for me. The chemistry didn’t feel natural between LMSY like how it did in Affair and in Hometown Romance. I think the director toned LMSY down so much that it affected their natural chemistry and made everything feel rehearsed and awkward… if that makes any sense.

Definitely comedic series of the year… right up there with Somewhere, Somehow.

I have a feeling that she closed herself off because in a life previous to the life where they both died, I bet that Rann died because she and Lene were in love with each other. She probably feels that she needs to cute Rann off in this new life so that she can help to save her from dying in the previous life. That could explain why she is so closed off.

One million percent!!! And to think that she was never trained and is an absolute natural, is mind-blowing!
