They were never going to win that case, not under those circumstances. it’s just like how people here are divided…
You’re right. This was the best scenario for everyone involved, and to the pro bono crew because their client gets taken care of in the end, so they were okay with the outcome.
To fight to abort a poor disabled child is honestly high key triggering and not really a comedy. I get if people…
They are a pro bono team who take cases for marginalized civilians who can’t afford for anyone to fight for them. I don’t think those cases are “lighthearted” so don’t know what you were expecting. Even the judge was uncomfortable thinking that this kid shouldn’t have been born.
Such a great show. I love how the cases aren’t the normal ones we see in dramas, and really touch on overlooked social issues in SK. It may be uncomfortable for some to watch, but it seems realistic. The pro bono team are also fun to watch and enjoying their chemistry.
The brother is absolute trash. This is your big plan, to torch your sister’s art gallery? I hope him and Ji Hyeok’s gross sister go to jail together.
Da rim finally got a chance to save her man! And it seems like next week she’s going to be there to support him. Can’t wait!
These last two episodes have been so good, minus the guys acting like immature idiots trying to one up each other. One or two scenes is enough, not half the episode.
The wife is making my skin crawl, hiding her husband’s disgusting behavior so she doesn’t look bad. Enabling his behavior is the worst, and blackmailing someone else to get the job she wants is even worse. I hope she’s finished along with her gross husband (I’m only on episode 9 but getting so angry).
Byeol is so freaking cute that I would have also sued to keep her. Her old owner was a piece of trash. Can’t she be arrested for slapping someone in a freaking police station? The nerve of her arrogance, and that collar made me so upset. Went from being mad to crying. The backstory was well done. I also like that the CEO doesn’t seem like a bad person and wanting the dog with the cafe owners, until that ending. WTF.
This show is so entertaining so far. Good cases and it’s funny. Can’t wait until next week.
Not the best first episode, but I really enjoyed the friendship between the acting club crew so will keep watching. Wasn’t a fan of FL, but I know she’s fighting both her awful family and mental health so gave her a pass and will see how her character is in the current timeline. I appreciate that instead of making the actress younger like they usually do, they are trying to make her look older since she’s supposed to be in her mid 30’s.
I think I’m going to love this show. The first episode was really good- we got the lead’s backstory, some insight into his snootiness as a judge, and now being completely humbled as a pro bono lawyer. The team are also quirky and funny. Hope we keep the dogs for a few episodes because they are adorable!
I also like that there is the mystery on who is behind setting up the lead.
On episode 5 and appreciate a show that’s about women in their 40’s, but the workplace bullying is making me so mad. The other women are working moms too, and are just so rude, even that snobby intern. Hope it gets better for Na Jeong.
The relationship between the three is so good, and even Na Jeong’s other friend who is always supporting her.
And I’m tired of seeing that awful woman pop up constantly on my screen. Hopefully her husband finds out about her lies and kicks her to the curb.
This show continues to be so entertaining. I would watch it every single week if I could, and if the budget allowed it.
