This show keeps surprising me 13 episodes in. With all the different twists to the storylines, I think it has enough to get to 16 episodes and it’s still keeping me entertained. Was not expecting that ending, but with the preview it makes sense what the blind shaman is trying to do.
I did shed a few tears today, with the forgiveness storylines and I even felt sad for the douchey prince that died. Excited to see what the last three episodes bring us! Doesn’t seem like it will be a happy ending for everyone- I am nervous that the King and GC will sacrifice themselves for everyone, but hoping that I’m wrong.
I thought this episode was well done. I was worried from the previews, but it was extremely sad along with being uplifting and funny at the same time. I am severely dehydrated because there were more tears than usual. Love how the gym gang stuck up for the Director, but wish those cyber bullies got some karma for blaming him for Sol’s death.
We finally got a backstory on Alex! And they pivoted on the “villain” from Roy to his mom. I can see Roy and HJ working together in the future.
There definitely should have been a kiss at the end, but it makes sense they didn’t go there since it seems like the next episode will be about HJ freaking out about developing feelings for Mi ran.
I was over the moon with this episode. It diverted all the usual tropes- no toxic ex, misunderstandings were avoided just by asking about the situation, and it didn’t drag for episodes. It was a pretty fantastic episode….until that ending.
They better not make my happy show into a melo! Hoping that the preview was mostly dreams and not reality, because why in the world would they go that route???
I could not stop laughing when Mi ran was thinking how life would be married to a fitness obsessed person. It was all so realistic, yet hilarious. HJ doing squats during his baby being delivered was too much.
Again, I’m really hoping they don’t go down the Melo route tomorrow. This show has surprised me every week, but it would be a letdown if the writers do that to us.
I guess instead of a crazy stalker/ex patient’s family, the creep is Ui Jun’s bio dad. Wondering why he didn’t get a restraining order on him, unless he was arrested and got out of jail recently. I hate crazy parent storylines- they always make me anxious.
Since the nurse is hiding being a bio mom on another show, I’m wondering if she’s playing a similar character and is Ui Jun’s bio mom and sticking near him to protect him from the crazy dad. That would be too makjang, so hope it doesn’t go that route.
Really bummed her confession scene was just a dream. They need to get together already! I was fanning myself during the shoulder scrape scene. At least she figures out that he knows the truth about her ex.
Glad this show isn’t glossing over the withdrawal symptoms, or how tough it is to be the caretaker to someone with an addiction. It definitely leads to depression or not taking care of yourself, so it was nice for Ui Jun to share that with Guem Ju so she realized that her mom was suffering too.
The scene at the mausoleum was perfect. The writers continue to do such a great job with the main leads. Wonder why none of this love is dropping down to Kang su and Bom, who continue to develop at the slowest speed possible. Maybe now because of the reveal he will lean on her for comfort. Ok Bun is also weird- it seems like she’s moved on to the way better vet, but she’s still thirsting over ex-mullet.
Ha ni coming in all smiley and clapping was the best. Happy birthday cutie! Sorry that your mother is a steaming pile of trash. The gall of her to compare her situation to Beum su’s made me rage. You left your family to fend for themselves and then became a trophy wife, but it’s the same as Beum su who likes his ex TA? Where is the truck of doom when we need one?
I’m sure the other awful ex will derail Cheun su’s impending proposal. Just let him be happy.
At the beginning, I didn't like FL's personality and I felt that I was watching a mixture of typical family dramas…
I’m glad we are seeing this side to drinking. In k dramas it’s always used for fun work dinners and drunk confessions or funny scenes. I hope the writers keep this up.
I absolutely love that this show has veered into romcom territory, but doesn’t forget to keep highlighting the amazing food. I was worried that the dinner would be a disaster since she was distracted.
I was hoping that the other chef would be gone after an episode even though I love the actor, and yay to having an episode free of the conniving brother and mother. Despite the preview which is likely misleading, this show keeps exceeding my expectations and gets better with each episode.
Best episode yet. I’m glad we finally got to see the sister’s life before getting married, and why she turned to drinking.
This episode had so many funny scenes (the friends and them bickering like brothers in law were hilarious), and the end was absolutely perfect. I thought his answer would be saved for tomorrow’s episode, but he confessed pretty easily. Their flashback scenes still make me smile, and so happy that she’s been so strong so far in quitting alcohol. Can’t wait until tomorrow!
I don't understand why the FL instantly got heartbroken when she saw the ML with his ex in the lobby. She only…
I think for her it was the realization that nobody will ever love her. She already has such low esteem, and thought maybe there was a chance with the Director since he shows so much interest in her, but he doesn’t like her like that (or so she thinks).
So annoyed with the last two episodes and the case of the guy with Ewing’s Sarcoma. His wife claimed that they didn’t want the surgery, but they went to 11 hospitals until someone was willing to do the surgery and the patient wanted it in the end. Make this shit make sense.
Wow, it all makes sense now. Mind blown! Fantastic episode, and extremely emotional. Now I know why they had Han Ji Min play that character- she was phenomenal.
Awwww, their dating era is so stinking cute that I can’t stop smiling like Dong Seok. Please don’t let there be any roadblocks and let them just be happy (I can dream).
The Eagle family continue to outdo themselves. Usually the storyline would be the dead spouse’s family feels betrayed that the widow/er has moved on, but the brothers just want Gwang Suk to be happy. They really are the best.
Tak continues to be the worst. Same with Beom Su and Cheun Su’s gross exes. Just go away already and let me enjoy the Eagle family in peace.
What in the world was that cliffhanger? I was not expecting the storyline to twist like this. I’m ready for that Celestial asshole to be gone already.
Keep loving GC bonding with everyone, especially the Chief Eunuch and King. Their scenes were so good, and now I’m worried one of them will die. This entire show is keeping me on edge and wondering who is going to bite the dust next. Hoping for a happy ending, but not expecting it.
