Workplace bullying always makes me angry, so the insurance salesman case gave me so much anxiety. Same with that poor kid who stabbed his bully, but so happy that the prosecutor was fair (for once).
Other than the anxiety-inducing cases, this show is like a warm hug. Love the relationship between the lawyers and how they are so supportive. I also have a girl crush on Sang Gi’s boss because she’s so awesome without being the usual toxic boss (like the two men).
I thought episode 9 was pretty refreshing. It was nice to see the ML & FL take a backseat for once while the…
Agree, it was nice to see the other characters get a bigger storyline instead of seeing Hong Kong flashbacks for the billionth time. I do like their chemistry, but glad that they were back-burnered today.
Are we ever going to have a supportive and non-jerk boyfriend being introduced from the beginning in a k drama? How annoying that he seems to revel in who her parents are. I hope she kicks him to the curb too- at least he’s not a cheater (that we know of).
Liked the first episode, and glad that despite the FL being book smart she still has a ways to go. Would have been unrealistic if she was a complete superstar. She better not be paired with the ML and hope they just have a mentor relationship.
The CEO is such a breath of fresh air, being so supportive over the lead and pushing her to find her purpose and way so she doesn’t stay stagnant. Of course there’s the usual ex best friend and first love trope, but hoping they aren’t focused on as much.
What a bunch of mean adult bullies. If the team was sick, shouldn’t that be a withdrawal/forfeit instead of them making a dumb rule about playing another sport? I can’t wait until all those fools finally get their karma (hopefully) at the end. And all those dumb student athletes laughing at him for not knowing how to fence or shoot- you try playing a different sport.
Is it Friday yet? This is definitely a binge-worthy drama and that ending makes me want to watch the next episode now.
This show is so much fun! Love the coach, the chemistry between him and his ex, and the players. The villains are their usual annoying and bullying selves, but it’s still a great watch with a lot of heart.
Ga ram was so smart with now he recruited the new player. Poor guy keeps getting beaten up. And I guess he really took illegal substances? I was hoping it was steroids for his myasthenia gravis.
After watching the guys and their muscular rugby thighs, I want to do squats all day.
I like that that was their first kiss that we've seen but it doesn't feel like a first kiss? This is skipping…
I agree. This is the most seamless and stress free first love to relationship I’ve ever seen. She also knows he’s a gangster so there is no “hiding who he is” trope, and they are both so supportive. I just wish she leaned on him with the stalker storyline. Probably afraid that he will get in trouble again, but it makes me nervous that she’s trying to navigate this herself.
I was annoyed with everyone in episode 5. The sister is still a freaking idiot wanting to go back to the gambling den after what her family keeps sacrificing for her. It doesn’t even seem like she cares about her kid. Try getting another job to pay off your debt instead of mooching off your sister and feeling sorry for yourself!
The chairman calling Seok Cheol a pathetic loser for not killing Taehoon was also ridiculous. Go kill him yourself.
Taehoon was so creepy with Miyeong. I almost felt sorry for him for the way the Chairman treated him and understood why he was vengeful, but now he’s a full on stalker.
I hate that Seok Hui’s boyfriend is a liar. I like his relationship with Seok Cheol and the cop, but why couldn’t he be a nice boyfriend?
For those lucky enough to have US Hulu, they have aired episode 5 and 6 early so I’m currently watching it. It hasn’t even aired in SK. Thanks Hulu intern!
She needs some slap …. She z getting annoying. I mean miso
I think Ok Bun is more annoying. She’s three weeks pregnant and talking about how tight her stomach feels and how fatigued she is. Wait until she’s in her 30th week.
I’m glad that I didn’t pay attention to the complaints because I liked the first two episodes. I do feel bad that the family is struggling because of the annoying older sister’s debt (she better start showing remorse the next few episodes because I can’t stand her), and the relationship between father and son is fascinating.
Hoping the next two episodes are good! Seems like there is already going to be an annoying triangle in the horizon.
