I switch from “Perfect Crown” to “We Are All Trying Here” and I just want to shoot myself in the head.…
That’s why I save We are all Trying to a weekday since it’s such a depressing watch. Filing for Love is so funny and light that it’s the perfect watch after this one.
my only issue at the moment is the break between episodes, maybe its just me but I feel a bit of whiplash with…
Agree. It would have been nice to see them after the bridge scene, a then maybe a flashback of him deciding to propose with his mom’s ring. It all felt rushed.
That last scene had me laughing so hard that I had tears in my eyes. Love the reverse damsel trope, and him fainting was the cherry on top. I have missed Shin Hae Sun playing a funny character.
Feel sorry for that wife who was right but she went way too nuts over it. I really love the premise of the show because it’s never been done before, and uncovering all the office drama/infidelity is going to be so much fun to watch. I’m enjoying the dynamics between the crazy duo because they are both equally loud and unapologetic, and I’m completely seated for it.
First episode that I rang has been unlikable, but I guess it’s expected since he has a lot of resentment and anger towards his dad. It was really hard to watch him be so mean to his father who looked so confused and sad since he didn’t have his memories. Guess they finally needed a filler episode so they can spend the last two episodes to clear his father’s name, but wish it could have been done in a better way.
I was a crying mess at the mom realizing who the ghost is by looking at the crane, and their flashbacks were so sweet. Brother in law continues to be awesome, along with the mom for not pushing I rang into telling her about his dad’s ghost. They are such a breath of fresh air to watch after other shows are filled with toxic family members. Na Hyeon is also so patient with I rang, but I’m getting impatient with waiting for them to get together!
Finally the real MVP of k drama, the white truck of doom, made an appearance on this show.
Today felt like a filler episode since tomorrow’s preview looks like it’s filled with drama, but I did appreciate a few scenes. The hospital scene between the two of them was really sweet with them caring about the other (and I definitely saw sparks when he touched her forehead). I also loved the King worrying about Hui Ju at the hospital and wish we saw some more scenes of them bonding. Hui Ju sticking it to the snobby queen at the banquet was the perfect ending. I get so mad when I look at her haughty face since she’s still trying to stay relevant.
It’s also nice that the brother isn’t the mastermind behind the car tampering. I was afraid they would go this route with the Castle credit card angle, but it was just so he could help find the culprit.
I got annoyed with the FL in ep. 1 and found her obnoxious in ep. 2 - not sure I'll be able to complete watching…
It’s weird that she is written as being capable and nice at work, but is dumb and rude at the farm. Pick a lane, writers. You don’t have to dumb down a FL to write a drama.
Can’t believe the main couple are still the greenest flag/least toxic couple I’ve ever seen. Honestly communicating and not keeping anything from each other. What a breath of fresh air among k drama couples. Same with the uncle and aunt- they are so adorable and happy and wear their heart on their sleeve. Love them both so much!
The best friend and VP continue to be a hoot. Love their hilarious expressions and constant meddling. I would take this all day over a stupid triangle.
The stepmother continues to be a snobby jerk. They were in the wrong and had the audacity to be sarcastic and rude towards Ju A’s parents. I miss the dad’s friendship but it is hilarious watching them be petty again. The actors seem to be having so much fun.
Boo to a sickness storyline. We don’t need that amongst the family drama.
I know people are excusing Dong man’s behavior as being realistic since he’s hiding his pain and depressed, but he is so annoying, rude and has a lack of self awareness that it’s hard to watch. I know this is how some depressed people act, it’s just frustrating to watch right now. I don’t understand why his successful college “friends” still hang out with him and invite him to things if he annoys them that much. Stop having him come to dinners if he spends the whole time stuffing his face and repeating the same stories- you aren’t doing him any favors by watching him flounder and then talk crap behind his back.
Go Youn Jung is freaking gorgeous. She’s not wearing any makeup and is meant to look tired and worn out, but she’s still stunning.
Oh Jung Se losing it because of Dong-man is hilarious. Poor guy needs to find a therapist because that is a LOT of rage aimed at one person. His wife seems to be a very level headed person.
Choi Won Young has been in everything I’ve watched this year. He’s always such a treat to watch, and I appreciate that all his minor characters are different.
Felt like an obvious freeze frame before cutting to credits. When they show the full scene at the start of episode…
They had to show the slow mo of Ian looking like the glowing knight in shining armor with the perfectly shaped cut under his eye to tide us over until next week. This director really knows what the fans want.
