Hahaha....this is a Cdrama. It probably wouldn't pass censorship and believe the people at the banquet will faint if she really licked off the wine from LBY's face.

The arrow scene was definitely one for me. The priority on LBY's mind was 100% not his wound, he definitely enjoyed being up close and personal with CSS😜. At the banquet where wine was slowly dripping from LBY's lips and chin. In front of CSS' house when CSS told LBY that she from then on will treat LBY better until he gets annoyed and then he pulled her in his arms and told her that he wish they could be married sooner. The way he looked at her is as if he wants to "consume" her on the spot.

Wonder if CSS knows the significance of "ming men"?

Yes, it was mentioned when the 3 girls were sitting together discussing love in general and the pros & cons of LBY. Madam Cheng is in favour of engaging YY with Ban Jia and YY seems to be OK with it.

In the novel, yang yang ends up with young marquis Ban. That guy appeared in part 1 briefly. They have a happy marriage.

Def both MLs but the director, Scriptwriter and the entire team must have played a huge role in it too. The sexual tension in this drama is off the roof. Can't recall the tension being so intense in the MLs' previous dramas, incl Long Ballad and WRTW.

Agree. This drama has a few sensual scenes w/o actually seeing anything sexual.

We have to see how it's portrayed in the drama. CSS & YS situation may be slightly different than his teacher & third aunt. The teacher was leading the aunt on for many yrs. All the while she was waiting for him as his fiancee. CSS only got engaged with YS at the tail end of the 5 yr gap from LBY. YS volunteered to accompany CSS. She didn't give him false hope or expectations.

Akin to what third aunt did with YS' teacher and marrying third uncle.

I'm with you. I like CSS and LBY together. But it's fun to see YS sprouting nonsense and eating sour plums.
