Great Soundtracks. Lack of Anything Else

The soundtracks is fresh, catchy, and easy listening from the opening and the motion songs. The plot idea actually quite interesting, but man...for something scientific this movie is rushing everything just for the last 4 episodes.

Zheng Yecheng & Yalkun Merxat (Mi Re) is the ones that give 110% performance, anyone else is lacking of emotions. Even Ju Jingyi doesnt look sincere in almost every episode, unlike when she played Legend of Yunxi. Ju Jingyi always looks overdressed in this movie, what on earth does the producer wants to picture her as? Her dress, her acts, her purpose just didn't get align.

When talking about alternate universe or multi-layered world, it doesn't mean everything is similar or even synchronize because it actually run at different time lapse resulting in different life. So, logically speaking, Xiao Dong in the last episode wouldn't the same Xiao Dong that Chu Xia left before. Unless this movie forgot to mention that Chu Xia get back to the last universe she entered. The Xiao Dong that Chu Xia left is still remembering her, still felt heartbroken. The story maker try to connecting the wedding ring in-between world but still, it lacks of presentation because as I said, the alternate universe goes along one another. So even if Xu Wei Yi lost her wife wedding ring in current universe doesn't mean its the same wedding ring that Chu Xia wears on her necklace.

As opposed, the FL really has tremendous impact on others, unlike other drama that FL just playing pretty and do nothing serious. In this drama however everything seems based on what FL did and ML helping her big time. The FL also making huge sacrifice in the end resulting deeper motion meaning (and tears jerking, of course). Man, the heartbreaking is serious in here!

I hope the producer could closely learn from Christopher Nolan movies before making this sci-fi drama. In every Nolan movie, he explained everything clearly just in a span of 2,5 hours! So, I don't think the ending in Love Under The Full Moon is satisfying. Perhaps if producer could take time and make another 4 or 6 episode to gradually developing the story line then this would be a great drama.

You have to see the imperfection with perfect vision (Grandpa Zhang) ;)

Marriage of convenience does happen and this drama lightly delivered the message. What a convenient marriage could turn out to be: lifetime friendship. ML and FL didn't enter an arranged marriage out of wickedness or for the sake of some inheritance. The ML really won over FL head and heart first before the marriage begin. The sick grandpa and demanding sister have only escalated the process.

Yun Shu wasn't as smart as Mu Wan Qing (Fall in Love) but not as dangerously dumb as Xiao Wan Zi (Truth or Dare), and Zhang Sinian wasn't as perfect as Xiao Nai (Love 020). Shinian is wealthy, but the apartment was aligned with the story. When you are single and academic chances are your house will be super smart-tech (if you are hefty) or super fit. If you don't have anyone looking over your house, then the house you choose must be practical to be taken care of. That is what this drama offered. Unlike some drama where the wealthy ML must have a penthouse-looking house.

The main love story plot that I like about this drama was FL and ML realizing their fall in love because they enjoy each other companionship. Not because ML was a superman or FL has perfect traits.
This kind of plot is easily overlooked because, in the sea of Asian dramas where FL is often portrayed super dumb or ML portrayed superman, this light story plot won't make you exciting over the roof, but you will nod for the realistic situation.

Every time the leads try to clear up their misunderstanding, I eagerly nodded my head. Cause, well, you solving misunderstood problem with communication! You talk! As simple as that.

The chemistry between FL and ML was okay. It's not sparkling fireworks like Zhang Zhehan - Jun Jing Yi or Yang Yang - Dilraba Dilmurat. But I think, the supporting roles have lacked of chemistry. Even the friendships didn't look sincere, the supporting love story didn't deliver any excitement, and the intimate part didn't have the makes-you-giggle effect. The second ML didn't give his life and everything for FL unlike most asian dramas, but sadly he easily gave up his what-so-called love for FL.

The rewatch value is 10 though because this is the most realistic, light, logical drama I watched.
I hate when a ML seems to understand the insightful thinking of their partners which are NEVER HAPPENS in real life. Yow, gurl out there, let me tell you that if the man that truly understands your thought exists, then this world is close to its end. No kidding. In Perfect & Casual, the ML had to project FL thought based on his statistical thinking. In real life, this is true, because most men will base their actions on what they thought was right, not what they felt right. Besides, this drama pictured that falling in love doesn't need someone with perfect traits, you just roll with it.

Bottom line, this is a must-watch drama. Go get your hot cocoa and chips for this drama was sweet!

Updated: for the music score. Gotta admit, later on somehow the OST Mr. Perfect & Miss Almost constantly rewinding in my head :D. So, I guess their theme song is obviously catchy .

Cheng Xiao & Luo Yunxi Zero Chemistry

I like Cheng Xiao, I like Luo Yunxi. Supposedly both of them combined in a drama would've given me happiness & satisfactory, right? Wrong.

Include this, i've watched 3 of Cheng Xiao drama and none of them worthy of anything really. As a danseur, Cheng Xiao is a goddess, she has much more expression & flexibility while dancing rather than acting. Her acting skill is so poor that I consider to will never watch her drama ever again.

Luo Yunxi is good in this drama, but the story itself didn't leave any room for his character development. So Li Zhe Liang was rather flat through out the drama.

The story plot was not interesting enough. The pace was slow with much filler such as multiple shots just for one scene. E.g while Su Xie Yi choosing the painting in gallery, and Li Zhe Liang guessing which art she would choose, the scene run for almost 6 minutes! Out of 45min this episode spent 6min on 1 single scene alone. That was sssllloooowwww.

ML & FL had almost zero chemistry as a lover. FL could be a much better chemistry as ML friend. But as a lover? Naaah,,

The motion songs were not worthy enough to be added to my playlist.
Other supporting character also lacking. I was dragging myself to the end of the drama while fast forwarding here and there.

Conclusion: please Cheng Xiao, either you get more acting class or rather stay out of acting at all and just be a great dancer.
Cheng Xiao & Luo Yunxi was so mismatched & lack of chemistry. Even the kiss seemed bland.

Contradictive much. Supporting role did great story rather than main role.

This is drama you'll likely fall in love with supporting role rather that main role. There are so much contradiction in this plot.

First, Shi Qing narrated as a very distant, cold-heart man that does justice. But man, he looks like fell in love with Wan Zi even from episode 1! Second, Wan Zi narrated as talented street performer because she's' the one and only that do chest-breaker. But she's acting dumb almost the entire movie! You'll feel raged. Third, in every single episode, audience informed that FL and ML had deceived The Majesty and surely be greatly punished, but in the end The Majesty granted FL as an princess just like that. So easy as though granting a person as a senior noble rank is nothing. Forth, almost every action scene flooded with CONVERSATION. Even in some dire events, every cast had its own share of flooding words!

On the other hand, however, the love story between Xiao Bao and Ying Yao are much more worthy scene even as a supporting love story. More mature, more natural, more make sense, and not cheesy at all. Xiao Bao that narrated as martial art expert bandit with no other capabilities, initially has much more brain than Wan Zi and successfully showing his acts of true love upon Ying Yao. Unlike Wan Zi that constantly messing up and only made effort once toward Shi Qing (that when he needed an oculist).

Still, if you are a not so critical, need a light, no-brainer twist plot, eye rolling scene drama then Truth or Dare could be the option.

Chokingly cheesy, but rewatchable

This is kinda drama that I would binge-watch on spare time because the story is so light, I wouldn't have to think. But hear me the pros & cons...

Cons:
1. Super cheesy love story.
2. Love chemistry between couples are not great.
3. Predictable
4. The soundtrack is typical. Not kinda song that makes you eagerly want to collect

Pros:
1. FL has talent & many positive traits. I always cringe when C drama brought a pretty-do nothing-dumb-always mess up kinda FL. But Xixi pictures a working girl with on point thinking and solves her mistakes with dignity
2. ML could act cutish. Most drama pictures ML as a cool-godly man from start to end. But Sichen could act childish once learned Xixi loves him back.
3. Female take serious lead here. From XiXi, Ruona, Grandma, Mrs. Yin senior, even the scheming XiWei. Makes you nod for the women.

In the end, OWGT is light and enjoyable with a mug of coffee or bunch of popcorn.

Great plot twist, to the point that will make you eyebrow furrowed

This is one of my favourite chinese drama. The plot twist in every episode is engaging.

Pros:
- Girl powerrr!
Though this movie surrounding military situation, but the women are equally scheming! Both right & bitchy way.
- Not corny at all. The comedy parts are really laughable.
- The casts deliver great acting, hard to miss anyone even the supporting roles are impressive.
- The sad scenes are really tears jerking. That's back to point 3:impressive acting skill.

But to be honest, the Cons:
- some of the twists are lack of logics.
- a lot of scenes weren't smoothly edited into the background like the fireworks, strolling view from within moving car, and some fighting scenes.
- if you know a bit of military perspective, a lot of scene are poorly excecuted to the extent that makes your jaw drop and shake your head in dibelief!

The soundtrack are easy listening but not so catchy. You get the vintage feel, but...not really worthy as playlist.
I dont speak mandarin, maybe that could be one of the things that makes me tilting my head when it comes to military decision & explanation.
I gotta try reorganizing my mind into thinking that these what happened in China (Shanghai) military situation long time ago. But still...
An officer would be fired hundred of times for taking impossible dramatical unlogical acts like ones in Fall In Love. >.<*

Great graphics, great act, but unsatisfying end

We can see tremendous amount of money spent all over this drama. The visual effects and costumes were fabulous.

I was highly anticipated this drama because Luo Yunxi, Bai Lu, and the teaser looked promising. Sadly, i was a bit disappointed.

Both lead had great acting skill & top notch chemistry that we expected in a twisted couple.
I think of all the supporting roles, I would say Ye Bingchang delivered the best play.

Now, the bad part:
1. Story plot were "untidy".
I had to watched almost 4-5 episodes just for story gave explanation about things, which some of it could be done in a short time of one episode. So, the writing were ineffective.

2. To much complicated love story.
Yet the side love stories were not interesting enough to be watched. Waste of time.

3. Problems keep on coming.
Yet, the story was ended abruptly & unsatisfying. The final episode showed the lead had a daughter from her husband but that was that. How could a love story that ran through thousand of years ended so lightly that it felt abandoned by the writer?
It felt like this drama wanted to show that the good people do not deserve happiness in their lifetime. Seemed like the producer wanted to play God by making everyone miserable at first then in the end no one would get a really sweet & happy life.

I have a suggestion for producer like this: if you want to play God, don't make drama!
People already knew what real life is, so next time you really want to make a drama, give the suffering people a lot of happy moments too! That what drama is for, to entertain people hearts, not make them desperate!

4. The motion songs were not catchy enough by nowadays drama OST standard.
Sounds like song from old classic drama remade to modern song.
I thought Zhang Bichen & Liu Yuning were guaranteed for great motion songs, turned out it were not.

Excellent chemistry, good looking casts, with poor storyline

All casts showed excellent chemistry between one another. Those good looking casts are worthy the screen time. I think the writer wants to put heavy story line, but to be honest, it turned out sometimes as cringy as ever.

I like females here portraits having talents and valuable traits as a talented jewellery maker, designer, poets, or martial arts. That a big plus one. Because FL in drama rarely has good brain let alone important traits. The males has mostly martial arts and literacy capabilities. The soundtracks are nice, easy listening, and greatly composed for the motions.
But this values ended here.

It's like the story surrounded with almost everyone making seriously stupid decision, like stupid. No joke here.

Like The Emperor constantly putting death row upon his own son (Xu Jin) but unbelievably forgiving upon criminals. Fu Rong that constantly accusing Xu Jin for making mistake that he didn't commit. Duke An that sworn revenge without any fundamental prove. Princess Xihe that making herself so annoying the whole entire movie. Ding Peng that full of rage towards Fu Rong with no sensible reason. Xu Jin that constantly love blindly and has to risk his life for Fu Rong without appreciaton or repraisal from Fu Rong. The latter will make you grit your teeth for sure. And so on...
The ending maybe confusing for some new-to-chinese-drama audiences. Because it wasn't clear enough whether FL survived or not.

In the end, mostly this drama worth your time. It is quite enjoyable but within episodes perhaps making you jaw drop or you could even hate the FL for being a real b*tch.

Addicitive. A story to remember.

I usually like Thai story plot in drama or series.
Praomook becomes one of my favorites even from episode one!

Praomook starts as a cliche contract marriage. But, here the contract are not hidden, but known to people. Based on cultural belief that superstitious only marriage is allowed to stir away the bad omen. So, frankly speaking this makes the story plot different from the usual contract marriage.

I always fall for smart FL, and Mook is smart, talented, energetic, and (of course) extremely pretty. She knows how to handle problems, without being just a candygirl.

FL and ML has to married twice because of the bad omen that follows ML life. The story sorrounds mostly on FL saving ML life a few times and they are determined to not admittedly fall for each other.

One of my fave points in this series is Rut. This second male lead weren't so miserable like mostly happened in C or K dramas. Because Rut likes Mook but not overly sacrificing every bit of him for Mook.
Every character in Praomook develops beautifully & subtle in a span of 15eps, you won't find much cringey acts (well, other than Lan's parents which mostly make your eyes roll.. :) )

Bottomline is, this story would be the one you'll remember. Rewatchable for sure, and the motion songs are incredibly enjoyable even though you don't understand a bit but...the songs are touche!

Dentist would warn you, for this movie is too sweet

As a start, this movie runs ssssllllooooowwwwllly.

I gave high scores for the FL portrays a girl with really healthy weight, healthy complexion, and the clothing aligned with the story setting. The imaginary fighting arenas are perfectly executed with smooth (sometimes cute & vintage) gaming effects. The martial arts are fabulous! Every time, the GO beads were arranged perfectly so we could sense that director serious about this ancient game.

But the great things end here. The plot and characters are not interesting enough, the motion songs are okay. I never felt engaged to continue watching episode after episode. How I just keep forgetting this movie. It's like, this movie is so into special effects rather than story plot.

Sheng Jing Chu (ML), which is colorblind, reports to his therapist that Cheng Liao (FL) made him see colors. Strangely, the colors he saw only came solely from what FL wears. Whether it's from her clothes, hair, shoes, bag, etc. His therapist gave him advice without giving any medical reasons, yet his shown to have a plate for his achievement in medical therapy. What?

ML indeed showed that he is attracted to FL from the start, and so did the FL. But, FL insists on liking Xu Chi. When FL realized that Xu Ci likes another girl, then she admitted likes ML. What?

Yao Ke is pictured as ML eternal rival. Said that he has the same GO level as ML, high determination, and he lives up to win against ML. Yet every time they got engaged, Yao Ke made easily lost and instantly joined as ML supporting group. Not even once in the story he won against ML yet it said that he practices day and night. What?

There was this moment when ML sang and his colleague said that he actually has a good voice. So why don't let him sing instead? Why director chose to dub his voice? Niu Jun Feng can sing! The lipsync moment really made me cringe and disappointed. And Jo Yeon Hoon suppose to play piano, why don't shoot him up close while his hands really playing?

For some, this movie could be sweet for its lack of intrigue. No fatal misunderstanding between characters, no deep-sworn-revenge hatred, not much insightful thinking. Just sweet young talents daily lives story with some comedy thrown here and there. Me, I could get diabetes for the over-sweet taste. But, for others, the story plot would feel quite draggy and the character's developments are rather shallow for 41 episodes. I think it could have ended within 24 episodes to be perfectly rewatchable. How does this movie have to carry THREE couples' love stories. Overly ambitious, I guess.

To be honest, seeing the FL made me realize how Chinese male actors are seriously underweight. There is no chance ML could walk-carry FL bridal-style. He would hurt his back, or worse, he would drop her. That's why I prefer manly feature body style like Zheng Ye Cheng or Alan Deng.

This movie couldn't bring out the best in Niu Jun Feng (Sheng Jing Chu). He played a "safe" character here and did not add many spices to it. As a stiff-sterned-face kinda guy, for many moments he did the talking through his eyes. Maybe you could fall in love with his eyes though.
I do prefer to watch this movie while doing house chores because the slow pace gives me assurance that I won't miss a thing.
