Yupp, I totally agree with you nosering of my brother, the fun in this season is seeing if and how they will be able to fix the issues that are in their relationships and in themselves, so it's more of a question will it work out between them, what obstacles are in their way, will they forgive the other person, who was right who was wrong etc, its still fun!

I don't know what their motives were, what do they gain from this?? But well, at least because of this I was able to talk things out with Dean 😊

Personally I love both seasons, they got different flavours, but I think people who disliked S1 will like this season more, and vice versa, people who liked S1 might be dissapointed, because this one is not trying to get you stressed out 24/7 lol and is lighter on ghostships. It will get more messy but in a different way.
And it terms of characters I agree, in S1 I felt bad for Nick and only rooted for SandRay (tho Ray was a dic* to Sand but he was a diva so it's okay), but rest was just a pure mess that got me stressed out lol, and here despite them not being all innocent you can feel sympathy to their relationships

Yeah and we don't know the extent of this services, he might not be telling the full truth, and still i'm sure the old guys wanted to get handsy with him so it's also pretty dangerous, especially when the guys are rich and have power, so I would seriously be worried if my partner would come back to this icky job

In the novel they showed Dean dacing for the clients so that was better imo, like imagine him doing pole dacing, that would be hot xD but I agree with what @shelbebe18 said, these old guys are rich and their services may be well known, Dean probably is not the only one uni student who did this stuff

I think this season won't have much ghostships indeed, they probably wanted to avoid the backlash of fans sadly, but it will get more messy in a different way, tho they already changed one thing from novel, in the novel Boston and Tua only kissed in the flashback but here they actually hooked up, tho they didn't showed that, so maybe they will change more things, we will see

I don't want to spoil much, and I think Bostons role was supposed to be this from the start, but Arnold and Dean will be involved more with each other once the play rehersal starts, so stuff will happen

Also, kinda a big spoiler? But Pond character will be Deans sugar daddy, so maybe this was another job that Dean didn't told Jack about, I don't think hosts have sugar daddys

Minor spoilers from novel if you don't mind but Jack and Dean will still be fighting so don't worry 😭 they will be toxic all the way, they are not back together even after this kiss, but i think it was a nice change of pace to show that they actually love each other to make their fight even more heartbreaking
but I agree on BostonTua that they should show at least a kiss :(( Especially since in the novel they only kissed but here they changed it and they actually hooked up. So that's dissapointing indeed, but welp we will see how it goes onwards, at least we will see ArnoldDean kissing, and there are still messy things to come later, and two characters that are not showed

Tbh i'm headcannoning that Dean indeed was a s*x worker, because it makes more sense, emotionally speaking, maybe they didn't wanted to piss of fans idk, same with the leaked video, in the novel Dean was dancing for the clients, but here hes just drinking, so imo they shouldn't soften it up, I love the series but I would change this bit.

Yeah, I def got the feeling that the biggest problem in their relationship was lack of trust, Dean didn't trust Jack to tell him he returned to work as a host, and Jack didn't trust him after Dean lied to him which is fair, but it's only 3rd episode, will they be able to figure it out and heal their relationship? Or maybe there are other obstacles in the way and bits we don't know yet
