Seo Joon is deeply in love with Jiwoo and so he's lost without him. Thus, he's trying EVERYTHING and ANYTHING. He probably thinks that if he just persist, be patient, more understanding and not give up, just like he did before, eventually Jiwoo would break his walls again. But after listening in on Jiwoo's convo with his ex, I think he finally got it and will give up the fight.
I'm pretty sure the restaurant being named "ti aspetto" (in italian) means it's directed at Seojoon bc Seojoon…
In the last episode, when they were doing that reality show stuff, I think he finally understood as the host pointed out its meaning. And he could have interpreted it as "Jiwoo is waiting for the ex-gf" that's why in the last scene he said "jiwoo also had a special love, a more heartbreaking love than mine" and he walks away.

Yes, most comments hate or dislike Jiwoo. I'm starting to dislike him too BUT after rewatching episodes 5 and 6, I'm starting to understand him better. Tho I still think he's too harsh on Seo Joon.

Seo Joon will always understand Jiwoo. By that ending scene, when he was listening to Jiwoo's talk with his ex, I think he finally understood when he thought to himself: "Jiwoo also had a special love, a more heartbreaking love than mine."
