Special episodes are usually hit or miss, and unfortunately, I've seen more misses than hits.
This one, though, is easily the best special episode I've watched in a long time. This is how you wrap up a series: well-paced, intimate, and genuinely satisfying. You can really feel how much their relationship has grown and evolved. Definitely a hit.
Couldn't care less about the main couple. Jaemin and Khun were the only reason I stuck around until the end. The pacing was messy, the editing felt disjointed, and the story dragged when it didn't have to. A more condensed approach would've made for much better storytelling. Season 2 is still the best by far.
While I agree that killing off Don was a bad choice this moaning fest over the second couple is increasingly tiresome.…
Itās not as if the main couple lacked spicy scenes. In fact, Iād argue they actually had more of them overall. That said, Iām not particularly fond of pairings that lean too heavily on sexualization. Still, my preference went to the second couple mainly because the main coupleās storyline came across as frustratingly idiotic.
As Iāve commented before, this is probably the first series that actually managed to make me hate its main characters. By comparison, the second couple didnāt even have to try, they won me over simply by not being insufferable.
I blew through the 54-minute finale in less than five minutes because I only cared about what happened to Pond. If thatās all youāre here for too, just skip ahead to around the 35-minute and 43-minute marks, thatās where his (and Don's) scenes are.
So they killed off an important character and then moved on from it it 5 minutes? I thought they were joking in…
Same. Don dying as a plot twist was so ludicrous that I didnāt even got to feel sad. I was just annoyed, then ended up laughing because it was so absurd. It felt like a bad joke, and I kept waiting for a punch line, I mean there had to be one, because thereās no way that was meant to be taken seriously.
girl what the actual fck???? he literally just believed a random girl calling his bfs phone and never thought…
So thatās what really happened? What an unbelievably stupid misunderstanding. Iām glad I didnāt waste more time on that nonsense. After the whole Don fiasco, I didnāt even bother finishing episode 8.
