What a waste of good actors and chemistry
They are not step siblings, their parents dated and moved in together, but they never married. The ml's dad died and fl mom got involved with scammers and ran away leaving the girl with nowhere to go. They just stayed together taking care of other, since they had no one else. But the drama became too repetitive, they should have cut it down to 24 episodes. The office scenes was so unnecessary, her ex boyfriend now boss, and chen yis fake gf had too much screen time for no reason. Also her mother coming back and the fl paying attention to her was so unnecessary, she doesn't deserve any forgiveness. Disappointing
What a mess, when the drama started considering everything the girl had gone through I was rooting for her to turn out better but no she used people and hurt innocent people. The end what a mess they kill the ml, Sml and she remains standing. The least they could have done to her is make her pay for her sins. Started good but got boring later on
Wow, the plot is something new. It's not the typical historical dramas we are used to. The fl and ml leads are both strong. The outfits are very beautiful. The wardrobe team did well. But it got boring along the way. Too many side characters were added and towards the end it was just giving me a headache. Eish. I had to fast forward a lot from ep 30-36. Mature /Good
Love the fl, she's so beautiful and naturally funny. Ml is good too. They both executed their roles well. The plot is nothing new but it was done well. Love that the drama was rounded up well. Evil people got what they deserved. There was not a lot of misunderstandings or break ups between the couple. I love that.Was this review helpful to you?
10/10 you won't be disappointed
Wooo this is my second best C drama for this year. Great story and great actors. All the evil people got what they deserved none was shown mercy. The evil people were revealed in the story earlier which is great. Overall this drama exceeded my expectations. I loved the music, it contributed to the emotion.Was this review helpful to you?

Wow what a beautiful drama, I'm only on episode 4 and I'm hooked. The music, the acting it's on point. I don't why people don't like Esther she's beautiful. The ml is everything. Started well but lost it's spark at the end
This drama deals with mental illness which is a plot I love. The actors did so well. It had me hooked from episode 1-31. From ep 31 it went downhill, it felt like I was watching something completely different even that emotional connection wasn't there anymore. What irritated me the most was the divorce In ep 31, the ml lead promised to always be there for fl after finding out she's mentally ill. But at the least inconvenience that happened, he divorced her and sent her back to the mountain. I can never forgive him for that even when he apologized in ep 32, I couldn't look at him the same way. They ruined the ending of the drama. I was enjoying the drama until episode 6. Where the ml was driving with the fl and it started raining and because of his so called trauma he dropped the girl in the middle of nowhere with no umbrella or an alternative transport. Which gentleman in his right mind does this. It's uncalled for and he didn't even bother to apologize or explain himself. That's when I knew this drama was not for me. Exceptional, Strong fl. Excellent
Woowww, this drama is so good, I was hooked from episode 1. I love that the fl is strong, she's not a damsel in distress. She carries her strongness from ep 1 to the end. Zhang linghe did justice to the character. He was strong when he needed to be and with Changyu he was clingy, he wasn't cold and dismissive like the typical generals, whenever it came to Changyu he was like a baby, always wanting reassurance and kisses which is so beautiful. The ending was done beautifully. Overall the all the actors did so well. Well done to the team I will definitely rewatch this a countless times. Don't listen to the other haters saying ugly stuff about the drama, it's a 100/10Was this review helpful to you?
I don't understand the hype.
This drama was very underwhelming, I don't understand the hype. I watched it because of all the good reviews. To my surprise the drama was not worth my time.It was uncomfortable watching a child fall in love with a guy. They could have at least used a child actor who looked 14 not 10. The story was nothing knew. I think people liked it because they love the main leads.

No depth
After reading the reviews I decided to give the drama a chance. I was so the disappointed by the story, it did not make sense at all. There was no depth to the reason why fl mom hated ml. So of the fire fighting scenes where, there's 0 possibility of such things to happen. From ep 1-25 we have the fl running after the ml and him being rude and rejecting her. 40 episodes should have been cut to 24 maybe it would have made more sense. Brilliant ( what a power couple)
I'm so impressed, the writer knew exactly what we wanted this 2026. The fl is powerful, she deals with people mercilessly that messes with her, she's no damsel in destres. The ml gives a poor sick front but behind the scenes he's powerful and know martial arts. The ml is a green forest. He saves the princess all the time but he doesn't make it known to her that he's the one doing all these things for her because he doesn't want her to fall in love with him out of gratitude. Once he falls for her he decides to actually not pursue her anymore because of he's sickness he doesn't have a long time to live so he doesn't want her to be lonely. The ml is so selfless and so kind. This drama is so good and a must watch. Well done to the cast and everyone for this brilliant drama.Was this review helpful to you?
Beautiful.
Wow why didn't I watch this drama earlier.The costumes, music and architecture Is wonderful. I love a clever female and male lead. There was no misunderstandings. I love how they didn't make the 3rd and 2nd leads fight each other dirty just for the girl. The moment they were rejected they backed off. What a mature script and matured man. This drama is everything and more.

Beautifully Heartwarming
This drama is on the list of my favorite C drama. The child actors acted so well. I cried a river. The music choice was amazing. This the most heartwarming drama I have ever watched. Wholesome, Beautiful, Emotional
What a show, beautifully done. No third parties or green teas. Just hardwork and beautiful love. The actors did a great job.I love that they showcased the hardwork and the working conditions of doctors and police officers and that it's all hardwork. This makes us appreciate the people who do those jobs more.
