This is indeed cinema! It looks and feels expensive.
Unfortunately they do not 😞 the ML is always almost way in battle..... But they kind of make up for it when they meet here and there and also in the last few episodes.
Is he as smart as the ML from Rise of the Phoenixes?I wouldn't necessarily say he is but he's no pushover either,he does make up for it by being strategic when it comes to the battlefield.....he kind of reminds me of the ML in the General and I.
Okay, so if you want a break from your pretty boy ML and cute FL with basic everyday "cinema"
And want a godly like man with such unbelievable screen presence that makes you feel like it radiates off the screen, scheming and more scheming, a not so I guess idk strong female lead but definitely not your damsel in distress type of FL that knows how to use her resources and a idk maybe 3rd ML? that plays a very charming sly role that he makes you want to say (take me to hell with you)
Oh and politics and fight scenes that are so top tier ???👌 👏 AND THE ACTING??
I've been so focused on C dramas that I haven't had time to watch some if not alot of the K dramas released this year..
So diving back into the K drama world with a FL and ML who are absolutely incredible at emoting in any drama you give them is absolutely aweosme for me
The reason why it's rating is this is because of poor execution of last arcs
I think it's because I've seen dramas that had very very bad arcs from the beginning to the end get such high ratings. Looking at this one just made me question it even more. I mean, they could have done better, but they certainly didn't do that badly either.
OMG! This was very looooooo000ooong but also very much WORTH watching.
The complexity of this drama was just amazing..( Yang Mis voice was a bit annoying though - Idk what was happening there) but I pushed through given what a fantastic actor she is(yes actor not actress )as well as the amazing production and perfectly casted cast.
I started watching for Yang Mi but ended up just gazing at Ethan Yuan, he was just as cute as a chipmunk..... I smiled everytime he appeared.
Overall it's such an underated drama wish it could get a higher rating
