Regarding the whole aging aspect my personal speculation is that P’Aof felt like it would have more impact if he used all of the original actors rather than casting different people to play the older versions. To me it was less that neither Gemini nor Aun looked like they had aged 30 years so much as that neither moved or held themselves like someone much older. Gemini especially still walked and stood as a young man of 21. Mannerisms as much as physical appearance can make a huge impact on appearing to have aged.

There were old allegations that he couldn’t keep his hands to himself when it came to the younger/brand new gmmtv actors. Nothing explicit, rumors of forced proximity, unwelcome touching and verbal harassment. But, it only seemed to be linked to new male actors. He was seemingly a total gentleman around the female actors so a lot of people just dismissed it as a misunderstanding.

For q’s the last count I saw was 78 but it seems like the number continues to change. I think it’s supposed to be 18 ep total?

Wow! Phuwin was just onset yesterday for SH Q71, he’s got to be exhausted.

It seems like GMM is going ahead with their pairing, to the disgust of many fans. However, their official CP “debut” is reportedly going to be L&G so hopefully they will be minimal in this series.

Same with that creep Luke. I cheered when he finally left.

Chaos gremlins! Gotta luv them

In many Eastern countries, Christian churches are usually also schools as well. In fact, not being a school would be much more unusual. Also the Catholic Church has an old, prejudiced belief (shocking I know) that it’s preferable to send a priest who is western (aka white) to lead a school than allow a priest who was born and raised in the eastern country. So yes, those two commonalities in the plot are not remotely surprising.
More importantly, TTH hasn’t aired yet so we can’t realistically say just how similar the two stories will be. I prefer to watch the series first.

It didn’t take any inspiration. The directors for both projects are gay men who were both raised as Christians/Catholics. The only inspiration would be they both, like many people raised in a religion that condemns their sexuality, grew up questioning/struggling with how to reconcile who they are with what they were taught to believe. There are lots of works, in all forms of media, that discuss this same theme because it weighs so heavily on so many people.

I think Niran lied and Ploy can’t be saved, even if they defeat the demon.

At D3 for LOL Phuwin announced they have a concert coming that will be at Impact Arena (so proud of them both!) so I anticipate they will try to air PAM around the same time as the concert.

For anyone hesitant, I suggest watching the special. That has to be one of the most in depth specials I’ve seen for a gmmtv series. They really gave a deep insight into the creation and filming process, including preparing all of the actors for their roles. It’s clear how serious P’Aof is about doing justice to such heavy and complex themes. One of my personal concerns was about casting two non-Christian actors in the title roles. P’Aof acknowledging and talking about the work he did to help GeminiFourth get past those difficulties was very reassuring.

It would be awesome if Parker has a cameo again!
