When it comes to the HS BL Thai series I recognize I am not the target audience so it’s a gamble if I find the storyline engaging. I’ve watched several titles that other people raved about but I just couldn’t really enjoy. I am enjoying Weirdo 101, though. It’s sweet, a little silly, the characters are funny and the slow, gentle pace still holds my attention.
So does Mochi actually have feelings for Krit? Or is it really Rin? After this episode it feels like he is deeply obsessed with Rin to the point that he’s copying Rin’s past feelings for Krit. Either way I actually feel a little sorry for Krit, Mochi was being such an a$s. It seems like Krit needs to take some time to be single and figure himself out. The spice scene was extremely lackluster. Aun and Stamp have genuinely 0 chemistry together, the sudden dip into Only Friends season 2.5 was completely unnecessary and ruined the flow of the episode. I’ve never advocated skipping scenes but every time Krit and Mochi are together I just lose all interest.
Excellent way to end a really great series. The acting was brilliant, the story was riveting and the series OST has become one of my top five favs of all time, especially Our Name. Tee’s voice is incredible! There were some mistakes in the editing and a dearly wish they had done a better job training Tee to hold a gun properly. Despite the flaws I have to say this is one of the best series of 2026 for me.
Coach Kong deserves an award for getting the dads to sit down and be supportive, especially when you know he just wanted to knock their heads together! And the principal deserves a raise! It’s so great to see Bay and Sun having supportive friends, family members and even trusted adults watching over them and helping them. This needs to happen more often.
P’Niran is absolutely flirting back now. Our cute little tsundere is starting to succumb to gravity! Meanwhile we have scooby doo level shenanigans going on in the science building and I laughed so hard I nearly peed myself too 😂 I love how this show is silly and cute and so very fluffy but still gives enough substance to tell a sweet simple story of love. SeaKeen’s chemistry is the backbone of this series but the friendship chemistry between everyone is just as entertaining.
Krit's campfire confession was as* He had no right to say that in front of everyone and especially Rin
That and then his pathetic apology to Rin! Even if he actually was being honest (and I don’t know if I believe that) why would Rin ever believe he was sincere?
Okay, first let’s all acknowledge yes that was a truly terrible kiss. We have two 18 yr olds who quite easily may NEVER have kissed someone romantically before in their lives. Want a list of Thai BL actors who had their actual first kiss, with their romantic lead in front of a production crew while filming their first BL series? Just GMMTV actors alone take at least the first five slots. So please be kind and imagine how well you would do if that was you in that situation. Bad kissing aside, the whole confession between Khobfah and Rin was surprisingly realistic and well handled. Rin was honest with both himself and Khobfah. Meanwhile Khobfah was thankfully not declaring his undying love, he was asking for a chance. The slower pace of their relationship really fits the narrative. In contrast, the whole thing between Krit and Mochi is just a disaster. Again, I do not understand why gmmtv chose to use a new BL pair that they clearly hope will succeed, in these roles. Krit and Mochi should not end up together by the end of this series. Sadly, in what will likely be a painfully tropey (and utter betrayal of what has been a decent story) way, I’m sure they will reconcile.
the prom guy (the evil one) is literally everywhere. I genuinely don't understand why he still employed in gmmtv.…
My understanding is he comes from a billionaire family in Thailand. Also his family is reportedly very proud of his acting career. So, even though he didn’t win the competition back then, gmmtv still signed him and has kept him on the roster ever since.
So fun fact for all the complainers. The episode 0/special usually aired before a title begins is actually ultimately up to the decision of the director and/or production team behind the series. If they have reasons why the episode just isn’t feasible to produce they will nix it. So the company itself wasn’t responsible for You Maniac or any of the other titles that didn’t have a special. It wasn’t some attempt at sabotage or any of the other ridiculous reasons people have been throwing around. And may I say, as fellow Westies, those of you trying to start fan wars should be ashamed of yourselves. Do you honestly believe William or Est would be happy with this behavior? Are you trying to make Wesley sad?
People really need to stop creating fanwars out of everything. Sometimes X genuinely just ruins my mood. There…
Yes, thank you! Very well said! Plus, if there’s a pairing a fan wants to see get more attention than be proactive about promoting their content. Don’t just tear other fandoms down. I love that we now have so many pairs to chose from as it’s taken years for BL content to become so popular in general.
As someone who got their first grey hair at 15 and whose father had a full head of grey hair before he turned 20, I can confirm sometimes genetics are cruel.
