I am at episode 4 and I don't understand the criticism towards their respective dad and mom. In fact, almost 3 people know about their relationship. Why is this becoming a soap opera?

On the other note both the actors are good looking and can act.

Then I'm definitely riding this train.

I am looking forward to watch this show. Want a heads up. Is the guy going to become puppy like most cdramas do after patch up or only limit his jerkiness?

Such a good drama! The characters of FL and ML are so fresh you don't generally see that in today's drama pieces despite having similar settings. My only complaint is that villians didn't get their comeuppance particularly 2nd ML. This habit of coddling 2ML in dramas really need to be studied.

Thanks, I understand that but my question is why did he not tell qing lang that he was coming. I guess he also didn't talk about his dad being in jail. The drama gave no clarity on why Chang yang came after five years when it was supposed to be a year.

I'm confused...can someone tell me why Qinglang follows Chang yang and why chang yang came earlier but didn't tell him? In Episode 15

If anyone is thinking of droppping this looking at FL's character in the first few episodes, I suggest give this a chance. I came for HMH and stayed for Aimi's character. What a growth! The story is fast paced and you won't feel annoyed by the things you may not like. Both the actors were brilliant, plot has loopholes but otherwise script is tight. Overall its a must watch.

Edit: The only complaint which I have is with this drama and similar ones is writer's soft spot for their 2nd ML and main leads esp FL's habit of providing them reformation classes.

In initial episodes you may feel irritated but it's worth a watch.

There are a few dramas only which balance the love and devotion between main leads. It's either FL running behind ML despite multiple rejections or viceversa. I genuinely do not enjoy that kinda set up. Here, they have brought a fresh take on FL who knows what she wants and that's admirable. But the way this is going I have little she would be able to match ML's fervor. Though you've given me hope and I'll continue watching it. I hope writers won't dissapoint.

I know and I genuinely like her character. But I never liked how FL in other dramas had to vie for ML's attention, here the opposite is true so my heart truly goes for ML. For a marriage to sustain, if both parties are not ready to surrender/devote, simping won't bring any results for long term.

I'm at Episode 19 and I'm done with him. Like guy get a grip. There are other lotuses in the pond. If perseverance was the answer she would have loved her previous Husband. You should choose yourself first like she does. Please tell me it gets better and not unrequited love or whatever this is.

Yes, and I am doing that. I never asked for your opinion. It didn't anger me it diassopinted me which is different. I can understand being passionate about drama and actors but that doesn't give you any right to criticize people who are sharing their opinions in the space meant for opinions particularly when it doesn't match yours.
