Douban rating was 7.2, I recall. I believe very few international viewers like this sort of serious topic/genre. Furthermore there are no idol romances, fanciful costumes and sceneries in show. It’s not the daomubijin franchise or Indiana jones thrillers☺️.. Admittedly, there are few episodes in the beginning dat are dry/ long winded, but towards mid point and ending, it’s very interesting.
Dropped. Binged the first 16 episodes and skipped the majority of it. Maybe I will come back in the future. D:
I also dropped the show after few episodes. Picked it back later and 🤣 binged the whole show! The show seemed more exciting when LeiLei had more screen time😜😍😍.
