Yea, the local Exchange bureau rejected the outdated notes. And I suspect there were 1 or 2 fake notes in dat small stash. this cashless system works well there. Do Visit Chn. Nothing to fear at all 🥳

Exciting year! Going to Xian too? Hmm ya, common methods. Can hardly use cash or physical cc there. Almost anything from paying beggars, etc.. best not to bring lots of cash. Didi ( found in Alipay) works like our Grab. I had some leftover cash from my previous biz trips prior to covid.. lol went to convert to Sing$.. but aiyoo some notes are outdated liao😵😵

I am a sucker for history.. old is always better but quite run down. Lol the lights outside stadium. There was a nite we had lamb stew opposite the stadium in brrr winter.. for some strange reason, the stadium looked so beautiful 😂

I like the temple of heaven , summer palace, old BJ/hhutong and haha olympic stadium at night. I went to BJ mainly on biz trips but at times ‘eat snakes’ with big bosses..
