Mandarin is just one of the many dialects…used to unite mainlanders those days after the war etc…candidly Cantonese dialect is the most flavourful ( and refined) of all the different dialects.. I have watched snippets of him speaking in Cantonese.. I became his big fan after hearing him sang in my dialect 🤣🤣💜💜💜
