Is there anyone watching this besides me? I feel kind of alone here🤣 Xia Zhi Guang is probably my main draw but that's not like the FL is a nobody?? Qin Lan is pretty well-known and a good actress. Why not more popular? It hit 20000 heat index on Tencent and originally it's a MangoTV drama....
Sorry but I'm one of those who likes clear cut endings. Open endings are just a lazy way to end a show imo. Expect…
Dramas que je suis actuellement: * Eat Run Love (frustrant également) * Home About Us (Xia Zhi Guang) * Always Home * When Life Gives You Tangerines But also 'I'm Nobody' and 'The Bond'
IMO, neither the FL or the best friend deserve an happy ending as things stand. They're incredibly self-centered and entitled. FL treats ML like sh*t and is deadset on giving him a hard time just because she's still bitter and never really moved on from the break-up. As for the friend, she chose her career and money over love...fine but why should her old flame accept her with open arms now that she's going through a divorce? SMH Men are written as spineless doormats and lovefools in this drama. As a female viewer, that's not appealing at all. People in the past complained a lot about the male leads' toxic behavior (wrist grab, force kiss etc...) but I see no difference with what the screenwriters are doing nowadays with their female characters...trampling on someone's dignity/feelings/dreams is a toxic trait as well. Period.
Boy owes you nothing. Not happy? Get the hell out of his life instead of hurting him and forcing him to do things he wasn't willing to do in the first place (jeopardizing the livelihood of countless employees and partners for example...selfish much?) Sorry but none of them are likeable as characters. Even the ML's best friend (3rd FL?) has redeemed herself...She was annoying in the beginning but now has changed for the better (sweet, funny and supportive) Same for Feng Sheng (still I blame him for not saying the truth about that fake marriage earlier) Only staying for Chen Feiyu, that's for sure. Rant over/

haha Don't get me started with the 2000s era: terminal diseases, amnesia, screaming in-laws, toxic male leads (in one word: makjang fest) were the most popular tropes in those days and a box of tissues was our best friend at that time (add a tub of ice cream to that too) Gone are those days😂
As for 'Such a Good Love', I didn't like the ending or where it was heading because it reminded me too much of 'La La Land' or 'The Third Charm' or 'Twenty Five Twenty One' (that's why I don't think there's anything new here, it has been done countless times in the past already) I must say I'm an hopeless romantic and those kind of endings totally kill my mood in the end. I don't mind sad endings, I'd rather have SE/BE over that half-assed kind of ending (just my opinion of course)
PS: Coucou de France^^ Ravie de pourvoir parler avec des francophones sur MDL😉

Sorry but I'm one of those who likes clear cut endings. Open endings are just a lazy way to end a show imo. Expect me to be mad when I have invested all my precious time and energy into something to be rewarded with emptiness in the end. I watched Twenty Five Twenty One and I hated the ending with passion too.
Edit: Watched first episode on MangoTV and subs are surprisingly not bad...they're actually good🫢 First episode was fun imo and Xia Zhi Guang is such a cutiepie🐻🫠...I'll watch the rest later!
RIP😢Read he was struggling with mental illness since last year and has been missing since late January...though I didn't know him or watch any of his works, it breaks my heart to see such a young man leaving this world so soon...24 is way too young and it also made me realize how hard it is to deal or live with such a condition😢I think we can't fathom it... My condolences to his family and friends. Hope he finally found peace and is now free of pain💔
How is the ending guys? Please tell me in detail if possible so that I can decide whether to watch it or not.
Waste of time tbh...I lost 15 hours of my life watching this. I can't even bring myself to finish it now after spoiling myself... (Sorry Wang Anyu😪). WTF did I just watched?!? Acting was the only saving grace imo.
According to Wang Anyu, they filmed 3 versions of the ending...not liking the sound of that tbh Is an happy ending with them back together still possible? Is there even love left between them? Is their relationship salvageable? A La La Land ending is the most plausible outcome at the moment😢 Drop the express asap, let's end the agony...we're tired here😩
